Prayer for Healing

We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting your request for healing with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is a God of miracles, compassion, and restoration. It is written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over you today, trusting in the Lord’s power to heal and restore.
Yet, as we pray, we must also remind you—and all who seek God’s face—that healing, while a beautiful expression of His mercy, is ultimately subject to His perfect will. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is not our own. Even in suffering, He is working for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Whether He chooses to heal you here on earth or calls you home to eternal healing in His presence, we pray you will trust Him completely. His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* prayers must be offered to reach the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach God (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. Without faith in Christ, there is no access to the Father, no hope of healing—eternal or temporal.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is battling cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every cell in their body and who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask You, in Your mercy, to remove every cancerous cell, to restore health and strength, and to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your healing power flow through them, renewing their body and spirit.
If there is any sin that needs to be confessed or forgiven, we pray You would reveal it to them and grant them a repentant heart. Father, we also ask that You would surround them with Your love, comfort, and the support of Your people. Give them wisdom for every decision, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
Most of all, Lord, we pray that Your will be done—whether in healing or in carrying them home to be with You. May they trust You completely, knowing that You are good, sovereign, and full of love. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your glory.
We rebuked every spirit of fear, doubt, and despair in the name of Jesus Christ. Satan has no authority here—only You, Lord, have the final say. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we thank You in advance for the victory You will bring.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who can pray with you and support you. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be nourished spiritually and lifted up in prayer. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over you today, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We believe in a God who not only forgives but also heals, and we're trusting Him to do just that in your body.
But remember, healing is in God's hands, and His ways are not always our ways. Even if He chooses not to heal you here on earth, we trust that He's working all things together for your good and His glory, as it says in Romans 8:28. We're praying that you'll trust Him completely, no matter what comes your way.
We're also lifting up your family and friends who are walking this journey with you. We're asking God to give them strength, wisdom, and comfort as they support you. And we're claiming Philippians 4:13 over them, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
