We stand with you in this heart-wrenching battle, lifting your husband before the throne of grace where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. The Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your husband’s life, believing that God’s healing power is not limited by medical reports or the aggressiveness of this disease.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come against this cancer that has returned to attack his body. Your Word says in Psalm 103:3 that You "forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases." We rebuke this sickness in every cell, every tissue, and every organ where it has taken root. We command it to wither and die, just as Jesus cursed the fig tree and it dried up from the roots (Mark 11:20-21). We speak life and restoration over his brain and stomach, declaring that every trace of cancer must flee in Jesus’ name.
We also pray for your husband’s strength and courage, Lord. The journey has been long, and the road ahead may feel overwhelming, but we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him daily that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let him feel Your presence in tangible ways—through the love of family, the prayers of the saints, and the comfort of Your Holy Spirit.
We encourage you both to stand on God’s Word and refuse to accept fear as your portion. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Hold fast to this truth, even when the enemy whispers doubt. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), and His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20).
If there are any areas where unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin may be hindering complete healing, we pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal them so they can be brought to the cross. James 5:16 reminds us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We stand in agreement with you, believing that your husband’s healing is already won through the stripes of Jesus (Isaiah 53:5).
Finally, we declare that this trial will not end in defeat but in a testimony of God’s glory. We pray that your husband’s healing would be so undeniable that it points others to the power of Jesus Christ. May his story be one of victory, just as the woman with the issue of blood was healed when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment (Luke 8:43-48). We thank You, Father, for the miracle that is already on the way. In Jesus’ name, we pray and believe. Amen.
