Prayer For Healing Of Marriage

My husband has filed for divorce. My oldest son lived with us for 3 years and my husband (his stepfather) felt like my son ruled our lives and our marriage.

My son has now moved out and I am trying to save my marriage.

I ask god to please soften my husbands heart and see that divorce is not the way for us. Father, show me the way to express my love for my husband so that he sees how important he is to me and how important and sacred this marriage is. Lord, help us find our way back to each other. We still have deep feelings for each other but we are so lost. Heal our hearts and our marriage.

Lord God, we come against this intended divorce and release the power of reconcilation. Father, draw these people by Your spirit, let Your hand stop the devil at work, whatever has gone wrong in this marriage, Father arise and defend it. We dismantle any wrong foundation, and ask You Lord to lay a new one based on Your word, let the saved partner save the other according to Your word. Lord, forgive, have mercy and interven, You hate divorce and we thank You that You are at work to mend and restore love in this family...amen
