We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for your sister, lifting her need for a safe and affordable place to live. Father God, we know that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and that You care deeply about every detail of our lives. Your Word tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Lord, we ask that You would open doors for your sister that no man can shut. Guide her steps to the right apartment in a safe neighborhood, or provide a way for her to afford her current home. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in her heart. We declare that she will not be overwhelmed by her circumstances, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she makes decisions about her living situation. Show her the path to take, and give her favor with landlords, realtors, or anyone else she may need to interact with. We also ask that You would provide for her financially, whether through increased income, unexpected help, or creative solutions that she may not have considered.
Father, we know that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. We trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are always with her, even in the midst of life’s challenges. We pray that she would draw closer to You during this time and experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would surround her with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help. Let her know that she is not alone, and that we, as Your body, are here to lift her up in prayer and in love.
We commit her situation into Your hands, trusting that You will work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). May she see Your faithfulness in a tangible way, and may her heart be filled with hope and gratitude for Your provision. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
