The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." This is not a passive promise but an invitation to actively seek the Lord’s will in every decision, including whom to trust with such an important matter. We also recall James 1:5, which assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." You are not alone in this search; the Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you to the right person if you seek Him with a surrendered heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging that You alone are the source of wisdom and direction. We lift up this probate matter to You, asking that You would go before [this individual] and prepare the way. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, to find an attorney who will handle this process with honesty, compassion, and efficiency. We ask that You would open the right doors and close those that are not of You. Lead them to a person who fears You and walks in integrity, someone who will reflect Your justice and mercy in this legal process.
Father, we pray against any spirit of confusion, deceit, or delay that the enemy may try to bring into this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against [this individual] shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Give them discernment to recognize the right person when they encounter them, and grant them peace as they wait on Your timing.
Lord, we also ask that You would provide clarity in every step of this process. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they experience Your presence and guidance in tangible ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
