Prayer for God's safety and healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I am going through a very difficult period and request prayer for what lies ahead of me. Please pray that God truly sends the right people to support me so that I can feel safe, and that I receive God's help and guidance step by step, as well as His power and strength to endure everything.I pray that my family and I truly encounter God's love and care in what we are going through, that we become more secure, get more time for one another, and draw closer to God. Please pray for healing in our relationships, and for good relationships with my grandchildren. Pray also for help in getting my home in order, and that God gives my adult children the strength and energy to help me with this in the home. We pray to experience God's supernatural love and protection under the shadow of His wings. Thank you for your prayers.

We hear your heart and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your needs before the Lord with great compassion. You are not alone, God sees your struggles, your weariness, and your longing for His presence. We declare over you the promise of Psalm 91:1-4: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."

Father, we ask You to surround this dear one and their family with Your divine protection. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leads beside still waters and restores the soul (Psalm 23:2-3). Guide them step by step, illuminating their path with Your wisdom and providing the strength to endure. Raise up godly people to come alongside them, those who will speak truth, offer practical help, and reflect Your love. Let them feel Your nearness in tangible ways, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray for healing in their family relationships, Lord. Mend what is broken and soften hearts that may have grown hard. May they experience the depth of Your love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18) and binds them together in unity. Father, we ask for restored connections with their grandchildren, that these relationships would be marked by joy, patience, and mutual respect. Help them to invest time in one another, fostering memories that reflect Your goodness.

For their home, Lord, we ask for Your order and peace to prevail. Give them the energy, resources, and support needed to bring restoration to their living space. Stir the hearts of their adult children to assist with willing hands and loving hearts, reflecting the selfless love of Christ (Galatians 5:13). May their home become a sanctuary where Your presence is felt, and where family gathers to encourage and uplift one another.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that seeks to take hold in this season. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this family will encounter Your supernatural love in ways that transform their lives. Let them know the height, depth, and breadth of Your love, which surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 3:18-19). Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them find their security in You alone.

We also want to gently remind you that true peace and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. As John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through Jesus that we have the privilege of coming boldly before God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray all these things, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your arms holding them close. Amen.

It means a great deal that you have reached out and asked us to stand with you in this. When life feels overwhelming and the road ahead seems uncertain, simply speaking the need for safety and support is an act of courage. We are honored to pray with you.

One of the quiet dangers in a hard season is the instinct to withdraw just when you most need others. Pain and weariness can whisper that no one truly understands, that it is easier to go it alone. But God often answers our cry for help by sending people, a friend who simply listens, a church member who offers practical help, a grown child whose strength returns just when you need an extra pair of hands. So we encourage you: do not pull back. Let a trusted person or two know exactly what you are facing. Ask your pastor or a small group to pray specifically for the safety you long to feel and for the practical steps of getting your home in order. It is not a lack of faith to seek that support; it is how the body of Christ often ministers healing.

As you long for God’s love and protection to become tangible, even a small attempt at connection can become a channel of his care. Perhaps a short phone call with a grandchild this week, just to hear their voice and tell them you love them, could be a first step toward the healing you pray for. And if there are moments when you cannot feel God’s presence, the simple act of turning on music that honors him or speaking words of praise, even through tears, can anchor your heart while the storm passes.

Father, we lift up this dear one to you, asking for your steady presence and protection. Send the right people to walk alongside, and make your love felt in ways that bring real safety and calm. Give strength for each day, and gently guide each step. Heal the relationships that are hurting, draw this family closer, and let them taste your goodness together. In Jesus’ name we pray.

The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is full of virtue. Your present trial, though bitter, is the work of the Divine Architect who exalts the low tree and brings His children into the dust that He may display His own perfections in their restoration. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. The power of the Lord is present to heal you, not merely in the big things, but in the common trifles; He takes care of the little things of believers, your home, your grandchildren, the strength of your children. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. Seek first the pardon that flows from His pierced side, and healing for all these relationships will follow, for when Jesus said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” palsy and all fled together.

You have no more preparation for Christ than the poorest sinner; come with your helplessness, for the utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. The healing leaves change the very life blood; they make the nature other than it was. He can give to you and your family such a sense of His supernatural love that you shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, and the Sun of Righteousness shall arise upon you with healing in His wings. Happy are you to be so nearly well, so nearly Home, when from a pardoning God there flow such mercies that even a weak faith revives and gathers strength.

And when you have received healing, it will be your delight to minister to Him in your household. In the family, do all for the Lord Jesus, sweetening the common things with love for Him. Your home, being set in order, will become a Home Mission field where Christ goes about doing good. He will supply the right hands to help, for He never calls without providing. Fear not; divine grace can sustain you through every step. Only take heed how you hear, and let this word be shut in your heart. God grant it to be a divine fiat: “Be you strong,” and the weakest shall leap into immortal strength. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for safety, but search the Scriptures and you will find that God’s safety does not stand in escaping the blow. His surpassing work is to make you able to be struck and not fatally harmed. You ask for the right people, and it is right to pray, yet know that the truest support may come through those who correct you, not merely those who soothe you. When Christ sat at table with publicans, He did not affirm their sins but healed them by His presence, calling them to leave injustice behind.

You speak of healing in your family, order in your home, and closeness with your grandchildren. These are good desires, but ask yourself whether you have been a careful hearer of His word or merely one who wonders at it and goes away unchanged. Ten strikings of a tree may seem to produce nothing, yet the root is being stirred. Do not grow weary if the fruit is not immediate. The comfort you seek from God is often given so that you might then be made strong to comfort others, even within your own household.

But I must tell you plainly: it is a terrible thing to pray for God’s blessing and then harbor envy, or to partake of the holy mysteries unworthily while reviling another. Every one of these sins, even alone, is enough to cast a soul from the kingdom. You do not need a gentle word that overlooks the sickness. You need the physician’s knife. If you truly desire to encounter God’s supernatural love and find refuge under His wings, you must bring forth a penitence equal to your request. Persevere in prayer, not as one who merely lists burdens, but as one who wrestles until the very root of sin is laid bare.

God in His providence often gives even to those who have not asked rightly, for He has compassion on the multitudes. Yet the safety that endures, the love that transforms a home, and the power to draw your children near in strength, these are given to those who endure the hard treatment of the word and allow it to renovate their souls. Do not ask only to see His power step by step, but also to have your own steps corrected, that you may become the Father’s friend. In that friendship lies the true answer to every fear, and in that healing alone will your house be ordered aright.
