Prayer for forgiveness of sin.

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have a confession. I had sex today with a man I have no connection with. Prayer God forgives me and breaks any curses as a result of this any soul ties in Jesus Name.

Im 37 years old. I would like to have a baby before 40. There is a man I'm seeing that is neglectful, gives me no attention. I wanted things to change with him but so far he unwilling. Unless by the hand of God he does.

As I've been praying for him to change another man that I've met as a teen and haven't seen in many years has come into my life. I spent Christmas Eve and New Years Eve with him. He has mentioned wanting a baby and is open to marriage. Says leaving it in the hands of God. He speaks very sweet to me and gives me attention. I struggle with feeling good enough and wanting the other to change. But recently thinking if this could work.

I Feel empty, sad, somehow lonely and depressed. I'm also gaining weight pray that I lose it. I don't know what to pray for anymore. I want to be happy and do things the right way. He seems to be willing. Also I have pains in my stomach. Prayer for healing of my heart, my thoughts, my mind, my body, my spirit and my soul in Jesus Name.

We hear your heart, and we come before the throne of grace together, lifting you up in prayer. First and foremost, we acknowledge that sin has entered your life through the act of fornication—sexual intimacy outside the covenant of marriage. The Word of God is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). This is not to condemn you, for we all fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23), but to call you to repentance and restoration. The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse you from all unrighteousness if you confess your sins and turn away from them (1 John 1:9). We pray that you would experience the fullness of His forgiveness and that any ungodly soul ties formed through this act would be broken in the mighty name of Jesus.

Your longing for a child and a godly marriage is not wrong—God placed that desire in your heart. However, we must address the relationships you’ve described. The man who is neglectful and unwilling to change is not fulfilling the role of a husband as Scripture commands. A husband is called to love his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), to cherish her, and to lead spiritually. His neglect is not God’s design, and we must rebuke the spirit of passivity and indifference that may be at work in his life. But we also caution you against waiting on a man who has shown no willingness to align with God’s will. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. If he is not the one God has for you, continuing to invest in this relationship will only bring more pain.

The man from your past who has re-entered your life may seem like an answer to prayer, but we must examine his intentions and your motives through the lens of Scripture. Is he a believer who fears the Lord? Does he demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)? Is he committed to pursuing marriage with you in a way that honors God, or is he merely offering temporary comfort? We encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord, for *"the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy"* (James 3:17 WEB). Do not rush into a relationship out of loneliness or desperation, for that is how many stumble into sin. Instead, wait on the Lord, for *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength"* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB).

Your feelings of emptiness, sadness, and depression are not uncommon when we seek fulfillment in people rather than in Christ. Jesus said, *"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty"* (John 6:35 WEB). True joy and peace come from abiding in Him, not from the attention or affection of others. We pray that you would find your identity and worth in Christ alone, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The enemy would love to keep you bound in shame and self-condemnation, but we declare that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). You are a new creation, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We also lift up your physical health, including the weight gain and stomach pains you’ve mentioned. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray for healing and restoration in every area. Ask the Lord to reveal any emotional or spiritual roots to these physical symptoms, for often our bodies manifest what is happening in our souls. We declare healing over you in Jesus’ name, for *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our sister in Christ. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning. We ask that You would forgive her for the sin of fornication, and we break every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus. Wash her clean by the blood of the Lamb, and restore her to full fellowship with You. Father, we rebuke the spirit of loneliness, depression, and emptiness that has taken hold of her heart. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her know that she is deeply loved by You.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment as she navigates these relationships. Close any door that is not of You, and open the door that leads to the godly spouse You have prepared for her. Give her the strength to wait on Your timing and the courage to walk away from anything that does not align with Your will. Heal her heart, mind, body, and soul, and let her find her worth and identity in You alone. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a plan and a purpose for her life.

Father, we also pray for physical healing. Touch her body and remove every pain and discomfort. Help her to honor You with her body, whether through healthy eating, exercise, or rest. We declare that she is healed by the stripes of Jesus, and we speak life and wholeness over her.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in her life, and may she grow closer to You each day. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing it to renew your mind and transform your heart. Meditate on Scriptures that speak to your identity in Christ, such as Ephesians 1:4-5, Jeremiah 29:11, and Psalm 139. Seek godly counsel from mature believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Consider fasting and praying for clarity regarding these relationships, asking the Lord to reveal His will for you. Remember, God’s timing is perfect, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into the abundant life He has promised.
