Grant me wisdom to make profitable decisions, discipline to manage resources, and creativity to identify opportunities. According to Your Word in Deuteronomy 8:18, empower me to create wealth and establish meaningful work. Amen.

We join you in this prayer for the Lord to bless the work of your hands and to grant you wisdom and favor in your business and career, and we rejoice that you have come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.

We agree with your desire to honor God through diligent work and fruitful stewardship. Scripture teaches us that work itself is a calling from God and that wealth is not to be pursued for selfish gain but as a means to provide, to serve others, and to glorify Him. Remember that it is Yahweh your God who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant, Deuteronomy 8:18. We are also reminded to keep our hearts guarded, for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, 1 Timothy 6:10, and to Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33.

We encourage you to continue to pursue your business with integrity, diligence, and generosity. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit, Proverbs 21:5, and A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight, Proverbs 11:1. Let your creativity and discipline be rooted in honesty, faithful stewardship, and service to others, knowing that Moreover it is required of stewards that they be found faithful, 1 Corinthians 4:2, and Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, Proverbs 16:3.

We pray together with you.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have placed within them and for the opportunity to work and create wealth for Your purposes. Grant them wisdom to make profitable and righteous decisions, discipline to manage resources well, and creativity to see opportunities that others may miss. Let Your favor rest upon the work of their hands, Psalm 90:17, and establish the work of their hands for them. We ask You to bring trustworthy partners, faithful clients, and divine connections across their path, and to open doors for professional growth that no man can shut. Increase their income according to Your will, not for pride or excess, but so they may be generous, create jobs, serve their community, and glorify Your holy name. Keep their heart humble and content in You, free from the love of money, and teach them to honor You with the firstfruits of all their increase. May their business be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider. Amen.

I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.

We were encouraged to read your prayer for your business and career. You want your work to be done well, to provide for others and to honor God, and we hear that heart in what you wrote.

We join you in asking God for wisdom in the daily decisions, for discipline in managing what He has entrusted to you, and for eyes to see good opportunities. Success in God's eyes is often measured more by faithfulness and service than by income alone, and your desire to create jobs and serve your community reflects that kind of faithfulness.

One practical step that often helps in this season is to bring another wise perspective alongside you. Whether it is a trusted mentor in your field, a financial counselor who can help with budgeting and planning, or a pastor who knows your gifts, inviting someone to review your goals and resources with you can bring clarity and keep you from carrying these decisions alone. It can also help you name your particular talents and values and how they fit the work you are doing now.

Father, we lift our brother before You in Jesus name. Grant him clear wisdom, steady discipline and creativity as he works. Provide trustworthy relationships, open the right doors and help him steward what You provide in a way that serves others and brings glory to You. Give him peace as he trusts You with each next step. In Jesus name, amen.

Praying in Jesus Name.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer for wisdom and prosperity in your daily calling has been laid before the Lord, and I join my heart with yours in seeking His gracious answer.

We must ever remember that our first business is to believe in Jesus, for without faith in Him no prayer is certified of success. Yet when the soul is trusting Christ, then we may rightly make our own business to be our Father's business, and if you make your business God's business you will do your business well. It is sweet employment to serve your Father, and you need not turn aside from the way of business to do that.

There is indeed a laudable pursuit of gain, without which business would not be properly carried on, but there is a line scarcely as broad as a razor's edge between diligence in business and greediness for gain, and we may pass from the one into the other without hardly being aware of it. Therefore I pray that the Lord will keep your heart watchful, with eyes wide open and hands busy, yet with a single eye to His glory. The true Christian in business desires to make money that he may have wherewith to give bountifully for the spread of the gospel, and that his success may serve his generation.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, I bring this petition before Thy throne of grace. Thou hast said in Thy Word that it is Thou who givest power to get wealth, that Thou mayest establish Thy covenant. Grant to this Thy servant wisdom to make profitable and righteous decisions, discipline to manage well what Thou entrustest, and creativity to discern honest opportunities. Bless the work of his hands, keep him from sloth on the one hand and from covetousness on the other, and make him diligent, upright and faithful in all dealings.

Lord, attract to him trustworthy partnerships and open doors for professional growth as it shall please Thee. Increase his income according to Thy will, not for pride or vain display, but that he may provide for his household, create honest employment for others, serve his community, and glorify Thy holy name. Let his prosperity be a provision for generosity, that the gospel may be furthered and the poor relieved. Above all, let his chief business still be to teach transgressors Thy ways and to live as one whose hope is in Christ, holding fast his profession without wavering.

Grant this, O Father, for the sake of Jesus Christ, who did His Father's business even unto sweat and blood and now sitteth at Thy right hand still doing His Father's business for us. Amen.
