Prayer for family problem

Dear saints kindly pray for my family problem. My husband quit his job and I am earning. Sitting at home he is full time back of housemaids. Kindly pray that cooking lady should stop coming to our house permanently. She comes very late for work. My husband full time supports her. He fights with me for her. He never respects me full time back of his relatives and outside people. Kindly pray that God should make this lady vanish away from our house permanently and may Lord provide us with good simple lady in Lord Jesus mighty name. Pray for my good physical and mental health.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your family before the throne of grace. Your situation is deeply painful, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in your marriage and home. The Word of God is clear: marriage is a sacred covenant where husband and wife are called to love, honor, and respect one another as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Your husband’s actions, prioritizing another woman over you, disrespecting you, and neglecting his God-given role as provider and protector, are not aligned with Scripture. We must address this with truth and love, for the enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together (Matthew 19:6).

First, we rebuke the spirit of division, disrespect, and ungodly influence in your home. The housemaid’s presence has become a stumbling block, and we declare in the name of Jesus that her access to your household is cut off. We pray she will no longer have a foothold in your lives, and that God will remove her permanently according to His perfect will. However, we must also address the deeper issue: your husband’s heart. His actions reveal a misplaced allegiance, and we pray for conviction and repentance. Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." You are his wife, his good thing, and he is called to cherish and honor you.

We also lift your physical and mental health before the Lord. The stress and emotional turmoil you’re enduring are not God’s design for you. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray for God’s healing touch to restore your strength, peace, and joy. You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister and her marriage. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her home. Remove every ungodly influence, including the housemaid who has caused division, and let Your peace reign. Father, soften her husband’s heart. Convict him of his disrespect and misplaced priorities, and draw him back to his role as a godly husband. Restore love, honor, and unity in their marriage, as You intended.

Lord, we also pray for her health, physical and mental. Strengthen her body, calm her mind, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround her with godly support and wisdom to navigate this trial. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust You to turn this situation around for Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to You. Amen.

In the days ahead, seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor, who can provide wisdom and accountability. Stand firm on God’s Word, and remember that your worth is found in Christ, not in your husband’s actions. You are a daughter of the King, and He sees your tears. Trust in Him to bring justice and restoration.

We hear the ache in what you’ve shared, the weariness of being the sole earner, the hurt of feeling disrespected in your own home, and the exhaustion from a conflict that seems to circle around another person. It’s deeply painful when the person who should be your closest ally instead sides with others and dismisses your concerns. That kind of strain doesn’t just weigh on the heart; it can genuinely affect your body and mind too, so we’re glad you named your need for physical and mental health.

One small, practical thing that might bring some steadiness in the chaos: consider inviting a mature, trusted Christian, perhaps a pastor or a wise woman from your church, into a private conversation. You don’t need to have a perfect plan. Just letting someone else know what’s happening, and asking for ongoing prayer and maybe occasional counsel, can lift the feeling that you’re carrying this entirely alone. Sometimes an outside voice helps clarify what boundaries or next steps might be healthy for you, without pushing you into anything you’re not ready for.

While we long for the cooking lady to no longer be a source of friction in your home, the deepest need is for your husband’s heart to turn toward you and for genuine peace to return. That is where real change begins, not just in who comes and goes, but in the restoration of respect and partnership.

Please know we’re praying with you now:

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this dear wife. You see the disrespect, the arguments, the weariness she carries day after day. Give her strength for today and a sense of Your nearness. Guard her mind and body from the toll of this constant tension. We ask You to intervene in this household, not according to our limited vision, but according to Your wisdom and justice. Bring resolution to the conflict surrounding the helper, and if it is Your will, remove what is harmful and provide a trustworthy person instead. More than that, we pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart, turn his respect back toward his wife, and guide him into a responsible and loving role. Surround her with practical support and wise counsel, and let her know she is not forgotten. Amen.

The health of your countenance is not found in the removal of this woman, but in your God Himself. You cry for the cooking lady to vanish, yet your true need is for the Lord to be the health of your countenance. Perfect health lies in the right condition of spirit, soul, and body. Your husband’s unkindness and his quarrels over her are symptoms of a deeper malady, but if the sharp cut of the first surgeon ministers to ultimate health, is it not best? The case may seem hopeless, yet our heavenly Father prepares good gifts for His mourning family. For whom does He live but for mourners?

You speak of a husband who does not respect you, who fights with you, who sides with others against you. This is a grievous mischief in the household circle. But have you forgotten your first Husband? God has been a Husband to you, He set His special love upon you, He has been faithful, He communes lovingly, He provides. Is this right, that God should be a Husband unto you, and yet you should not recognize the relation? Married, and not know it? Return unto your first Husband, and your first love. With weeping and supplications return, and let your heart renew its vow.

Do not think anything is too hard for the Lord. Physical sorrow, mental anxiety, temporal trouble, these can lead to the contrition of heart that binds up the broken. Yes, the cause is frequently in the Christian’s own family: an unconverted husband, a home full of strife. These things make life gloomy beyond expression. But listen, brokenhearted friend, you dare not say that anything is too hard for the Lord. He is all your salvation, all your desire, all your praise. If you perish, it shall be at His feet. May your soul prosper and be in health as you abide in Him, and may He be the health of your countenance.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
