Family problem still

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in distress. Father God, we know that You see every tear, hear every cry, and hold every broken heart in Your hands. The struggles within this home are not hidden from You, and we ask that You would move mightily to bring healing, restoration, and peace.

First, we pray for this husband’s physical heart. Lord, You formed him in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and know every beat of his heart. We ask for Your healing touch upon any medical condition he faces. Strengthen his body, calm his fears, and let him feel Your presence as the Great Physician. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May he seek wise medical counsel and trust in Your provision for his health.

We also lift up his mental struggles. The weight of anxiety, depression, or any other mental burden can feel crushing, Lord, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Bring clarity to his mind, peace to his spirit, and remind him that he is never alone. If there are strongholds of fear, doubt, or despair, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Surround him with godly counsel, whether through pastors, Christian therapists, or brothers in Christ who can speak life into his situation.

Father, we also intercede for this marriage. The enemy seeks to divide what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6), but we stand against his schemes. Where there is strife, bring humility. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there is distance, draw them back together. "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Help this wife to extend grace, even in weariness, and help this husband to lead with love, as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). May their home be a place of refuge, not turmoil, and may their children—if there are any—see Christ reflected in their parents’ relationship.

Lord, if there are unconfessed sins, hidden addictions, or unresolved conflicts fueling these problems, we ask that You bring them to light. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Break any chains of pride, anger, or unforgiveness, and replace them with Your peace.

We also pray for this wife, who bears the weight of this request. Strengthen her faith, Lord. When she feels overwhelmed, remind her that You are her ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). Give her wisdom in how to pray, how to speak, and how to love her husband well, even in this season of trial. May she find her hope in You, not in her circumstances.

Finally, we declare that this family is not without hope. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We speak healing over this husband’s heart—both physically and emotionally. We speak unity over this marriage. We speak Your peace over this home. And we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28) for those who love You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
