Prayer for family, peace, finance, academic

We have heard your cry for your family and we stand with you together before the Father in Jesus name in this time of distress. We know that the enemy seeks to bring confusion, fear and oppression into homes, but we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world and that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as it says in Ephesians 6:12.
We want to remind you that God is faithful to protect His children. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You do not have to live under evil influences when you submit your home and your family fully to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to remove from your home anything that does not honor God, to fill your home with prayer, with the reading of His Word and with worship, and to put on the whole armor of God daily as described in Ephesians 6:10-12.
We also lift up your needs for peace, for provision and for studies. For peace, Jesus Himself said in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. For your finances, we trust the promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And for academic pressures, we pray for wisdom and diligence, remembering Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight. Isaiah 41:10 assures us do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we lovingly want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be saved and to have authority over all evil we must put our faith in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you and your whole family to call upon His name and to make Him the center of your home.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear family to You. We ask for Your will to be done in their home. We rebuke every evil influence, every spirit of fear, oppression, confusion and distress that has come against them and we command it to leave in Jesus name. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home and over each family member. Fill this home with Your holy presence, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and with Your light that no darkness can overcome. Lord, You see their distress and You are close to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 says. Comfort them and establish them in Your love. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory and open doors for provision that only You can open. Grant wisdom, clarity and strength for their studies and help them to be diligent for Your glory. Teach this family to seek You together daily, to pray together and to trust You with all their hearts. Draw each one into a saving relationship with Jesus and let Your name be glorified in their home. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word together as a family. Psalm 91:1 promises he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Abide in Him and He will give you rest and victory.

Your cry of distress on behalf of your family has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace where our God delights to hear the prayers of His people.
We understand what it is to feel pressed on every side, in the home, in matters of peace and provision, and in the labors of study, and to sense that evil influences beset you. Take comfort in this, that none of your trials lie outside the fence of omnipotent overruling. As it is written, The Lord has chastened me sorely, yet all our ills remain within His wise and sovereign hand, and He is able to make deliverance effectual. He brought them forth, not they themselves, and when the Lamb was slain the way of deliverance was opened.
There is a deliverance which God alone can work, a deliverance from the power of darkness. Hear what the Scripture says, that the Father hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both His work, and must be sought from Him alone. He has found a ransom, and through that ransom, through the blood of Jesus Christ, the pit shall not swallow those whom the Great Shepherd keeps. No infernal power can rend one sheep or lamb that He deigns to keep.
Therefore we pray for you and your household in this manner.
O Lord our God, who hast promised that they that trust in Thee shall find Thee to be their refuge, look with tender pity upon this family now in distress. Deliver them from going down to the pit, and deliver them from every power of darkness that would trouble their home. Break in pieces the influences of evil, and set them free by Thy mighty arm, for with Thee deliverance is complete.
Grant peace within their borders, and let Thy peace which passeth understanding keep their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Provide for their needs according to Thy riches in glory, for Thou knowest what things they have need of, and Thou openest Thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. Give wisdom and strength for every academic labor, that with diligence and a sound mind they may do their work faithfully unto Thee.
Above all, draw each member of this family to trust wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and teach them to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness. If affliction has come as chastening, grant repentance and a clearer sight of the exceeding evil of sin, and then grant the joy of free grace, that they may say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Thou hast found a ransom, and Thy mercy endureth forever. May this time of trial become in Thy good providence a season to declare Thy goodness, that after deliverance they may magnify Thy choice favor with thanksgiving.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will bring you forth into a wealthy place and cause you to sing songs of deliverance. Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you.
