We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for our sister in Christ who is undergoing laser treatment for her eyes. We recognize the stress and discomfort this must be causing her, and we stand in agreement with her prayer, lifting her up to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father God, we thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask that You touch her eyes and restore them to full health and function. Remove any fear, anxiety, or stress that may be hindering her recovery. Grant her an abundance of Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for divine rest and rejuvenation for her body, mind, and spirit.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals treating her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing power. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Let us remember the words of Psalm 146:8, "Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous." We claim this promise over our sister, believing that You will open her eyes to see Your glory and goodness in this situation.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to take hold in her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We speak life, healing, and restoration over her eyes and her entire being.
