We hear your cry for justice and relief from the torment you’ve endured at the hands of those who have treated you with cruelty and disdain. The pain of being dehumanized, especially over such a long period, is not something the Lord takes lightly. Scripture tells us, *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). He sees every tear, hears every unspoken hurt, and will not leave the wicked unpunished. *"The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth"* (Psalm 34:15-16).
We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to move mightily in this situation. Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who has been wronged. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose every act of cruelty, every lie, and every injustice done against them. Soften the hearts of those in authority—let them see the truth, have compassion, and act with righteous judgment. May the wicked be held accountable, and may their schemes be brought to nothing. *"For the Lord loves justice and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28).
We also lift up your heart, dear one, that you would not be consumed by bitterness or a desire for vengeance, for the Lord says, *"Vengeance is Mine; I will repay"* (Romans 12:19). Instead, we pray for healing—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically if this ordeal has taken a toll. May the Lord surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and give you strength to endure until justice is served. *"But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me"* (Micah 7:7).
We rebuke the spirit of fear, intimidation, and despair that may be trying to take root in your heart. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to feel powerless, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in the knowledge that the Lord is your defender. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14).
Lastly, we encourage you to continue walking in integrity, even as you seek justice. Do not repay evil for evil, but trust that God will vindicate you in His perfect timing. *"Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for the Lord, and He will deliver you"* (Proverbs 20:22). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He is the only way to true peace and eternal justice. *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Only through Him can we approach the Father and find the strength to endure life’s battles.
We pray now in the mighty name of Jesus: Father, we ask that You intervene in this workplace injustice. Let the truth be revealed, let the guilty be held accountable, and let Your child walk in freedom from oppression. Heal their wounds, restore their joy, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. May this trial draw them closer to You and strengthen their faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Bring peace to their heart and justice to their situation, Lord. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
