When you say you are tired and overwhelmed, you speak the language of every soul that has ever waited upon God. But you have also remembered His faithfulness, and that is the right place to begin. The fountain that was opened for sin and uncleanness is open still. It is not open only to the sinner at first coming; it is open for the child of God who has grown cold, who is weary, who is afraid. Come and wash again.
You ask for wisdom, intelligence, knowledge, understanding, discernment, clarity. We all lack wisdom. James says if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not. He will not mock your confusion. But you must ask in faith. A man who has no wisdom can have faith. Do not try to understand all mysteries before you trust Him. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge. If you have a spark of true faith in Jesus Christ, that is better than a whole volcano of worldly wisdom.
You have laid your Q3 and Q4 plans before Him. That is well, but let them be an open deed, not a sealed one. Do not present a plan already written and ask Him only to bless it. Ask Him to blot out whatever is not of Him. If any partnership, programme, or idea runs contrary to His holy law, do not ask Him to bless it. Ask Him to remove it from you. His blessing follows obedience. The path of true wisdom is not cleverness or policy. It is trust in the Lord and departure from evil.
For finances, funding, scholarships, employment, open doors, you may rightly pray. He opens doors no man can shut. But He also sometimes keeps doors closed for a season to teach you that the door is not your shepherd. Jehovah Jireh will provide. Jehovah Rohi will lead. But the sheep does not tell the shepherd which pasture it prefers. You do not know what to do, but He does. Take over is a good prayer, but take over must include take over my will. The Lord's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name.
You say your mind is overwhelmed and unclear. Renewal of mind comes not first by sharpening your intellect but by yielding your thoughts to the Spirit of God. Do not let the cares of this world choke the word. A man may be clever and perishing; the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Let your first study be to do the will of the Lord. Christ asked the blind man, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? What will you answer? If you ask for sight, ask also for a sight of your own shortcomings, and for a heart to obey what you see.
Expect divine interpositions. He has delivered you before, and He will do it again, but perhaps not in the way you expect. At the right moment He will bring forth the surprising stroke of wisdom which He postponed, so that when He draws you out of deep waters, the praise will redound to His name. Do not make a god of your plans or your provision. The one hope of the people of God is the Divine Presence. If you have that, you have enough. If you lack that, no funding or connection will do your soul good.
You ended in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. That is the only name given under heaven. There is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus. See that your trust is in Him alone, not in your prayers, not in your surrender, not in your faith, but in His finished work. The open evidence of your salvation is the open Word of God and a changed life. Let your life become a testimony not only of provision but of purification. Sanctification is the great open separator of Christians from the world.
The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; the Lord make his face shine upon thee, and give thee peace.
