We stand with you in prayer together and we hear the weight and anxiety in your heart over your academic work, and we bring your situation before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.
We thank God with you for His grace that has carried you this far, that even when you did not know what you wrote, He sustained you above the class averages, and we thank Him that He delivered you from the nightmares and attacks that tormented you last semester. We know that our struggle is not only academic but spiritual, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also rejoice that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon formed against you will ultimately prosper when you abide in Christ.
We want to gently encourage you about something important we noticed in your request. You spoke of the grace of God and of spiritual warfare, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you with love that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name daily not only for deliverance but for fellowship and salvation. It is in His name that we have authority to rebuke the enemy and to approach God with confidence.
We also want to speak truth to the fear of failure at the edge of breakthrough. The enemy would love for you to be consumed by anxiety and to see yourself as a victim of circumstance, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We rebuke that spirit of fear, confusion, and stagnation that has tried to follow you from that ten year delay into this present semester. We also want to encourage you to hold in balance the spiritual and the practical. God calls us to commit our works to Him and to be diligent stewards of the minds He has given us. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. This means we pray for divine intervention while also faithfully studying, resting, seeking help from tutors or professors when needed, and caring for our bodies and minds.
We are praying for you that God will intervene in that third test and in every module where things have tanked. Even when you do not know what you wrote, God knows and He is sovereign over the outcome. We pray that He will grant you favor with those who mark your work, clarity of mind as you prepare for the final exam, and that He will redeem what seems lost in your assignments. We pray against that blockage you feel and we ask God to break every chain that would hinder your progress, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister to You. Lord, You see the diligence in studying, the confusion after the third test, the low assignment average, and the need for only 8 out of 50 to qualify for the final exam. We ask for Your divine intervention and mercy. Let Your grace continue to sustain them as it has before. We ask that You grant them wisdom, understanding, and a sound mind, and that You calm their anxious thoughts, for we are told in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Father, we rebuke every spiritual attack, every nightmare, every spirit of failure at the edge of breakthrough, every stagnation and valley of the shadow of death that tries to swallow them, and we declare that even though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil, for You are with them Psalm 23:4. Strengthen them to not be a victim of circumstance, but a victor in Christ. We ask that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28, and that You will not allow the enemy to slaughter their future. Help them to trust You while also being diligent, to rest in You, and to remember that You are their light and strength. We pray they will cross the 45 percent threshold, qualify for the final exam, and see restoration in the module that began with merit and distinction. Let this not be another valley, but a testimony of Your deliverance. We ask all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen.
We encourage you to keep praying in the name of Jesus, to speak scripture over your studies, and to rest in the promise that Yahweh is with you wherever you go and that He will never leave you nor forsake you Joshua 1:9. Do not be anxious about the results, but continue to commit your studies to Him, study with diligence as unto the Lord, and trust that He who brought you through ten years of stagnation and through last semester's trials is faithful to complete the good work He began in you Philippians 1:6. We are standing with you for breakthrough and not failure, in Jesus' name.
