We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance. The spiritual realm is real, and we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed these principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we rebuke any unclean spirit or entity that does not belong in this earthly realm in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God declares, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We command every spirit of fear, oppression, or torment to leave immediately, for Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed this entity to gain a foothold. Have you engaged in practices such as divination, occult activities, or any form of idolatry? The Bible warns, "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If there has been any involvement in such things, we urge you to repent and renounce these sins, for the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We pray that you would put on the full armor of God so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). May the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, guard your heart and mind (Ephesians 6:14-17). We declare that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this beloved one with Your holy angels to protect and minister to them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the power and authority of Jesus Christ. May they find refuge in You, Lord, for You are their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and to stand firm in faith. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May they draw near to You, Lord, and You will draw near to them (James 4:8). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37).
Finally, we pray that you would fill this precious one with Your love, joy, and peace. May they rest in the assurance that Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). We bind every spirit of fear and release the perfect love of God, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We speak life, healing, and deliverance over them in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
