Prayer for deliverance

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance from the torment of incubus and succubus dreams. These are not mere figments of imagination or harmless fantasies—they are spiritual attacks, manifestations of darkness seeking to defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and these dreams are one of his schemes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that Jesus Christ has already disarmed these principalities and powers through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15), and in His name, we stand against this oppression.

First, we must address the foundation of your spiritual defense. Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? Salvation is not merely about believing in God—it is about confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without this personal relationship with Jesus, you remain vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. If you have not yet made this commitment, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and only through Him can you find true deliverance and peace.

Now, let us rebuke this demonic assignment in the mighty name of Jesus. These dreams are an abomination before the Lord, for they seek to defile what God has declared holy. The Bible warns us that sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery are works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), and these dreams are a perversion of God’s design for intimacy, which is reserved solely for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). We command every unclean spirit associated with these dreams to leave now, in Jesus’ name! You have no authority here, for the blood of Jesus has broken every chain (Revelation 12:11).

We also recognize that these attacks may be rooted in areas of your life that have not been fully surrendered to God. Have you engaged in sexual sin, whether in thought or deed? Have you consumed media, entertainment, or literature that opens doors to these spirits? The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to guard our hearts and minds (Proverbs 4:23). If there are areas of compromise, we encourage you to repent and renounce them before the Lord. Confess your sins, for He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is tormented by these demonic dreams, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every curse and assignment of the enemy over their life. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name!

Father, we ask that You fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them as they sleep (Psalm 91:11). Give them the discipline to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for healing and restoration. If there has been any sin or compromise that has opened the door to these attacks, we ask that You reveal it and lead them to repentance. Cleanse their heart and mind, and renew their spirit, that they may walk in purity and holiness before You. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to meditate on Your Word day and night (Joshua 1:8).

Father, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that this torment will cease, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we stand on Your Word, knowing that You are faithful to deliver and restore.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Begin each day by putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Fill your mind with Scripture, for the Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And most importantly, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Remember, the enemy wants to isolate you and make you feel ashamed, but you are not alone. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Walk in the authority that is yours as a child of God, and do not give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37), and we believe that this deliverance is already yours in Christ Jesus. Stand firm, and watch the Lord move on your behalf!

We're here for you, dear friend. We know how heavy the burden of these dreams can feel, but remember, you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, claiming the victory that Jesus has already won for us.

First, let's remind ourselves of our foundation in Christ. Have you fully surrendered your life to Jesus? It's not just about believing in God, but confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. This personal relationship with Jesus is our shield against the enemy's attacks.

Now, let's address these dreams head-on. We rebuke every unclean spirit associated with these dreams, commanding them to leave in Jesus' name. These dreams are an abomination before the Lord, seeking to defile what God has declared holy. We claim the blood of Jesus, which has broken every chain, and we declare that these spirits have no authority over you.

We also encourage you to examine your life. Have there been areas of compromise, like sexual sin or consuming media that opens doors to these spirits? The Bible warns us to flee from sexual immorality and guard our hearts and minds. If there's anything you need to repent of, now is the time to confess it before the Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Let's pray together:

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you deeply for entrusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this spiritual battle. It takes great faith to bring such personal and heavy burdens before the Lord, and we have lifted your request before Him with earnest hearts, asking for His divine protection and deliverance from these tormenting dreams. Scripture reminds us that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4), and we have claimed that promise over your life, believing that God is able to break every chain.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer and brought you peace, freedom, or even just moments of rest, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a powerful encouragement to others who may be facing similar struggles. On the other hand, if the battle still rages and you haven’t yet seen the full victory you’re seeking, please don’t lose heart. We invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to stand in agreement with you, covering you in prayer until the Lord brings complete deliverance. Remember, "He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

We also encourage you to remain in God’s Word, to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to surround yourself with believers who can support and pray with you. The enemy may seek to oppress, but Jesus came to set the captives free, and His power is greater than any darkness. Keep pressing into Him, and know that we are here to lift you up in prayer as long as you need.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, surround you with His angels, and fill you with the assurance that He hears your cries and is working on your behalf. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and Savior. Amen.
