Thank you for sharing your request for deliverance and protection. God hears the cry of those who call on Him sincerely, and His desire is to deliver and to keep those who trust in Him.
Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. God hates evil because evil destroys. It destroys bodies, minds, relationships and souls. That is why we are not to become tolerant of evil or make peace with it. Evil always asks to be tolerated and to be given a little room, but the wise response is to hate what God hates, to love what is good, and to turn away from evil completely.
That turning is where deliverance and protection are found. The Bible urges us not to enter the path of evil people, not to go near it, but to avoid it, turn from it and get away from it. Those who walk in darkness have left the straight paths, and their words are perverse and deceitful. So keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit, put perverse speech far from you, let your eyes look straight ahead, consider carefully where your feet are going, and remove your foot from every evil way. To depart from evil, to do good, and to seek and pursue peace is the way of one who fears the Lord, and that way brings health and life.
True protection is not like a charm that works while we live however we please. We keep ourselves in the love of God by walking with Him. When we give ourselves over to what harms us and others, we move ourselves outside the place of His sheltering care. The prudent person sees the danger that sin brings and hides himself in the provision God has made through Jesus Christ. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, and none who trust in Him will be left desolate, but evil itself will in the end destroy the wicked.
God is also patient and merciful. He warns us because He wants us to turn from the evil that is destroying us so that He can forgive our sin and iniquity. If we confess and turn from our evil way, He is faithful to forgive through Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation.
I am praying for you that God will deliver you from every evil way and from the influence of those who speak perverse things and walk in darkness. May He give you a clear hatred for evil and a deep love for what is good, and strength to turn from anything that would harm you or others. May He guard your tongue, guard your eyes, and establish your steps as you look straight ahead to Jesus. May He hide you in Christ, redeem and keep you, and lead you to do good and to walk in peace. As you fear Him and depart from evil, may you know His protection, His forgiveness, and His peace in your heart and life.
