Prayer for Delivarence

We hear the deep despair in your words, dear one, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your burden to the Lord who sees and knows all. The feeling of futility and the weight of efforts that seem to bear no fruit can be overwhelming, but we want to remind you that our God is a God of deliverance, hope, and redemption. His Word declares in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this struggle, and your cry has not gone unheard.

First, we must address the foundation of our faith and the source of our deliverance. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first and most crucial step toward true deliverance, for it is through Christ that we are set free from the bondage of sin and death.

Now, let us pray together for your deliverance, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who is feeling overwhelmed and defeated. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of despair, hopelessness, and futility that has taken hold. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who delivers Your people from bondage, and who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that nothing is impossible for You, and we trust in Your power to bring deliverance and breakthrough.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of heaviness, discouragement, and oppression that is weighing down our brother/sister. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us, and we ask that You would fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of sin or unconfessed wrongdoing that may be hindering this deliverance. Your Word tells us in Psalm 66:18, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." We pray for a spirit of repentance and humility, that any hidden sin would be brought to light and dealt with according to Your mercy and grace. Cleanse this heart, O Lord, and renew a right spirit within.

Father, we also ask that You would surround this one with godly counsel and support. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Provide community, mentors, and friends who will stand in the gap and intercede on behalf of this soul.

We declare that this season of futility will come to an end, and that You will open doors that no man can shut. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this heart with the assurance that You are working all things together for good, even when it is not yet seen. Fill this one with hope, faith, and the knowledge that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You.

In the name of Jesus, we command every stronghold to be broken, every lie of the enemy to be silenced, and every plan of the devil against this life to be thwarted. We thank You, Father, for Your deliverance, Your healing, and Your restoration. May this one rise up in the power of Your Spirit, walking in the freedom and victory that is found only in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The enemy may whisper lies of defeat, but we serve a God who has already won the victory. Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Even in the wilderness of your struggle, God is making a way. Hold fast to His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We also urge you to examine your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Ephesians 4:27 warns, "Don’t give place to the devil." Are there unrepentant sins, bitterness, unforgiveness, or idols in your heart? These can hinder your prayers and your deliverance. Confess them to the Lord, and turn away from them, trusting in His forgiveness and cleansing power.

Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find support.

Lastly, remember that deliverance is not always instantaneous. Sometimes, God uses the process of struggle to refine our faith, teach us perseverance, and draw us closer to Him. Trust in His timing, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming. Stand firm, and let your heart be anchored in the hope of Christ.

We hear the weariness in your words. When it feels like every effort sinks into the sand, it’s easy to believe that nothing will ever change, that you’re trapped. That despair can be overwhelming, but it isn’t the whole truth. It’s often the voice of depression and exhaustion, not a final verdict on your life or God’s presence with you.

You’ve asked for deliverance, and we join our hearts with yours. Sometimes that deliverance comes not as a sudden miracle but through the steady, gentle help of someone who can walk beside you and help you see clearly again. Please don’t battle this heaviness alone. Is there a pastor or a mature Christian friend you could be honest with about how you’re really feeling? If the darkness has been deep and long, a Christian counselor can also be a lifeline, there’s no shame in seeking that kind of help. Even small steps, like simply sitting in God’s presence for a few minutes each day without trying to fix anything, can quietly anchor us when our own strength runs out.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, meet this one who feels so defeated and empty. Quiet the inner voices that say nothing matters and nothing works. Let them know, in a way they can actually feel, that You are near, that they are not forgotten. Grant them a moment of relief, a crack of light in the dark, and courage to reach out for the help You may be sending. Hold them steady, and in time, restore hope that feels real. In Your name alone, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father provide direction, clarity and peace to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That cry of a broken heart is known in the courts of the Lord. The very exhaustion of your own rowing is the point where divine power begins. The mariners in the tempest rowed hard to bring the ship to land, but they could not; all their fleshly efforts failed. Yet the answer did not lie in stronger rowing, but in a man cast overboard as a ransom. How mad it is to run counter to divine law, striving for peace anywhere but in the finished work of Christ.

Do you not see the mercy in this bitter discovery? When every effort of yours is in vain, the Lord is teaching you the mischief that comes from loving self-reliance, silencing every boast so that you dare not take an atom of the honor of deliverance to yourself. It is then you hear the clock of mercy strike in heaven, the hour decreed by the eternal purpose. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not invented it. He has found a ransom.

Lay hold of this: the deliverance has been wrought by divine power, not your tugging at the oars. When the Lamb is slain, the prison doors open; Pharaoh cannot hold you beyond a certain point. God never has forsaken them that fear him, and he never will. Though you crossed the brook full of trembling, you shall yet meet the Esau of your fears and find him falling upon your neck. The great transaction’s done. Will you believe it? You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Present distress is but a stanza in the song of deliverance, and the clouds must scatter, for his grace shall to the end stronger and brighter shine.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a lie from the wicked one that every effort is vain, for to sin destroys not so much as to despair. The devil is a monster who never despairs of our destruction; how much more should we never despair of our own salvation, since God’s mercy is ever ready to receive the penitent. You fix a time for deliverance, you bargain with the Lord’s chastisements; this is why you are not delivered. The Three Youths entered the furnace prepared to die, not expecting deliverance, and they obtained it beyond all hope. Abraham offered his son, expecting to lose him, and received him back safe. When you fall into tribulation, be not in haste to be delivered, but prepare your mind for all endurance, and speedily you shall be delivered, for God brings the affliction to chasten you.

You say nothing works, but the promise of God is not thwarted by our tribulations; it is thwarted by faintheartedness. The Jewish people obtained not the promise because they were faint-hearted, but those who patiently endure, even if they seem not to obtain, are not grieved. We are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair. This is the power of God, that we do not quite fall off. When a ship breaks to pieces, a sailor can do nothing, but God is the physician whose patient is never beyond hope. To his own Master he stands or falls, and God is able to make him stand. Even of things we are quite in despair about, we must say this.

That wicked spirit brings in great sins and from them great despair; yet as long as there is a Today, there is hope. Let no man despair so long as he lives. Though God threatens, do not despair, for you are able to repent and reverse the denunciation, like the Ninevites. The old covenant had a fault and deficiency, not being sufficient; but in Christ the new has come, and the law made nothing perfect, yet now you are made perfect through patient endurance. If your heart has been an evil heart of unbelief, even now recover yourself. He who amends by repentance speedily remedies what has been done, but he who desponds fails to apply the remedies. Therefore shake off this dark cloud that troubles your soul as one led away to death; let not your soul be dejected and relaxed with fear. Prepare your mind for all endurance, for it is when we learn to bear patiently and do not sink into despair that God presently relieves us, as having effected the whole matter.
