Prayer for decision making

Dear God, We are currently in the hospital as my mom is sick and I am taking a leave whenever my mom is here. Due to the frequency of her hospitalization (just last week we were here for 3 days and now we have been here for 3 days and counting), I am thinking of resigning. I am also stressed and tired with my work as there are so many things to do. I don't have a planned next work if I resign but I have some money saved up. But I think resigning will help me take better care of my mom and not stress about not being able to perform my tasks at work. Please help me and lead me to the right decision. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Let's pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister who is facing a difficult decision. Lord, You know the depth of her concern for her mother and the stress she is experiencing at work. We ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom.

Grant her the discernment to make the right decision regarding her resignation. If it is Your will for her to continue working, please provide her with the strength, grace, and necessary support to balance her responsibilities. If it is Your will for her to resign, please open up new opportunities that will allow her to care for her mother while also meeting her financial needs.

Lord, we also pray for healing and comfort for her mother. May Your healing hand rest upon her, and may she find solace in Your presence.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Regarding your decision, consider these biblical principles:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
