We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who is far from home, navigating the pressures of academic life and the weight of loneliness. Father, we know that You see her in her distress, and we ask that You would draw near to her in a tangible way. The stress she carries is not just about exams, but about the battles within her mind and heart—battles that only You can truly calm.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to overwhelm her. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We declare this peace over her now, Father. Let it flood her soul and replace every lie with Your truth. Remind her that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20).
We also lift up her struggle with binge eating, Lord. This is not just a physical battle but a spiritual and emotional one. We ask that You would break any strongholds of unhealthy coping mechanisms in her life and replace them with Your healing and wholeness. Help her to see herself through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Give her the strength to seek godly counsel and to surrender these struggles to You daily.
Father, we pray for her exams. Give her clarity of mind, focus, and recall of all she has studied. Let her rest in the knowledge that her worth is not defined by her performance but by Your love for her. We declare that she will not be shaken, for You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for her loneliness, Lord. Surround her with godly friendships—believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and point her to You. Open doors for her to connect with a local church or Christian community where she can find fellowship and support. Remind her that even in her solitude, You are her closest companion.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You would draw her heart closer to Yours. If she has not yet surrendered her life to You, we pray that she would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior. There is no true peace or healing outside of Him. We declare that she will find her identity, purpose, and strength in Christ alone.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
