We have heard your burden for your daughter and we join with you in bringing her before our Heavenly Father in prayer, for we know how distressing it is to see a child suffer with prolonged bleeding and fever, especially when travel is ahead.
We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We come to the Father not on our own merit but through His Son who gave Himself for us. As it is written, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus, believing that He died and rose again for our sins, that we are reconciled to God and can boldly bring our requests to Him.
We are concerned for your daughter's health, as heavy bleeding for more than a week accompanied by fever can be a sign of a serious underlying need that should not be ignored. While we pray earnestly for the Lord's healing touch, we also encourage you to seek prompt medical care for her and to seek wise counsel about whether travel tonight is safe for her. The Lord often works through physicians and wisdom, and we pray He will guide you to the right decision. We also encourage rest, hydration, and that she not travel alone without support if she must go.
We take comfort in the promises of Scripture that God is our healer and our refuge. Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We also remember the invitation of Christ, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious daughter to Your throne of grace. You know her body, You formed her, and You see her suffering, the prolonged bleeding and the fever that has weakened her. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon her. Touch her body, regulate what is out of balance, remove any infection or cause of this bleeding, and bring down her fever. Grant wisdom to her mother and to any doctors or caregivers who see her, that they may discern the cause and provide the right care quickly. If it is not safe for her to travel tonight, make that clear and open a way to postpone or to travel safely with help. Give her peace and rest, and give her mother peace that surpasses understanding as she waits on You. We pray for Your protection over her journey if she must go, and that You would be her strength and refuge. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trusting in Your mercy and love. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing and to trust the Lord with your daughter's health, keeping close to Him and seeking medical attention without delay. We are standing with you in prayer for her complete healing and for peace for your whole family.
