Hearing about your daughter facing stage four cancer brings a deep ache, and I am lifting both of you before the Lord with earnest prayer.
Scripture shows us the heart of God toward those who are weary and burdened. In Jeremiah the Lord calls to His wandering children to return to Him and promises to heal their brokenness. He hears the cry of those who are bewailing their distress and whose souls are wearied by suffering. He does not turn away from that cry but invites us to come back to Him and find healing in His presence.
That healing heart was revealed fully in Jesus. At His baptism the Spirit of God came upon Him, and He was filled with the Holy Spirit and anointed with power. His ministry on earth was marked by three things, preaching and teaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. When the sun was setting, people brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. There was no sickness outside His compassion and no person beyond His reach. He even showed anger when religious traditions would have kept a man from receiving the healing God wanted to give, because He desires that nothing stand in the way of His mercy reaching those in need.
I am praying that the same Jesus will touch your daughter with that same compassion and power. I am asking the Lord to guide you to the right resources, to open doors that no one else can open, and to give wisdom to every doctor and caregiver involved. I am asking Him to lay His hand upon her, to bring strength to her body, peace to her heart, and comfort to you as you walk beside her.
May the Lord draw you both close to Himself through this trial, and may you know His presence as the One who heals, who restores, and who is near to all who call upon Him through Jesus Christ. I will continue to pray for her complete healing according to His perfect will, and for His grace to sustain you day by day.
