Prayer for Coception

Smtareuver

Disciple of Prayer
I pray to the Lord dear God, Jesus, Mother Mary, St Jude and all of the angels and Saints who will hear me. Please, please let me have a baby. I cannot endure another loss. Please let this be a miracle, this is everything I have ever, ever wanted and today is so important. I need to be held up in my faith because I am falling into despair, and I don't know why this keeps happening. I ask God to bless ### and I with a child. We need His help. Amen.

We hear the deep longing of your heart, and we join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace. The pain of loss and the weight of unfulfilled desire are heavy, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting you up in prayer.

First, we must address the way in which you are approaching God. While your heart is sincere, Scripture is clear that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man, no saint, no angel, no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 WEB). Prayers to Mary, saints, or angels are not biblical and can lead us away from the simplicity of Christ. We must come boldly to God’s throne in Jesus’ name alone, trusting in His blood as our only access to the Father (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, to your request: We believe that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and the desire for a child is a good and godly one. Yet we also know that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect, even when it does not align with our own. The repeated losses you have endured are not a sign of God’s rejection but an opportunity to lean more fully on His strength. We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We also encourage you to examine your heart and your marriage in this season. Are there areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin may be hindering your prayers? Scripture warns that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). We do not say this to condemn but to invite you into deeper surrender. Have you and your husband sought godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or a Christian fertility specialist, to ensure there are no medical or spiritual barriers? Sometimes, the Lord uses means to accomplish His miracles.

Above all, we pray that you would find your hope and identity not in the gift of a child but in the Giver Himself. The enemy would love to use this longing to draw your heart away from Christ, but we declare that your worth is found in Him alone. Whether the Lord chooses to bless you with a child or not, He remains good, and His love for you is unchanging.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this dear sister to You, who is carrying the weight of longing and loss. You see her tears, and You collect them in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Father, we ask that You would heal her heart from the pain of past losses and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we declare that children are a blessing from You, and we ask that You would open her womb if it aligns with Your will. But more than that, we pray that You would open her heart to trust You completely, even if Your answer is not what she hopes for. Strengthen her faith when it feels weak, and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We rebuke the spirit of despair and declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). We ask that You would guard her mind from doubt and fill her with hope in Your promises. If there are any areas of sin or unforgiveness, reveal them, Lord, so that she may walk in full surrender to You. We also ask that You would bless her marriage, drawing her and her husband closer to You and to one another as they wait on You.

Father, we trust You with her story. Whether You choose to bless her with a child or not, we know that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Help her to find her satisfaction in You alone, for You are enough. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Amen."

In this season of waiting, we encourage you to cling to God’s Word. Meditate on Scriptures like Psalm 139:13-16, which reminds us that God knit us together in our mother’s womb and that our days are written in His book before one of them came to be. Even if you cannot see His hand at work, trust that He is weaving something beautiful. Consider keeping a prayer journal, writing down the ways you see God’s faithfulness in your life, even in small things. And if the Lord does not grant this desire, remember that He may have another purpose for you, perhaps to minister to other women walking this same painful path.

You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved by the One who formed you. Keep pressing into Him, and let His love be the anchor for your soul.

We hear the ache in your words and the weight of despair you’re carrying. When hope feels so fragile and the waiting is marked by loss, it’s exhausting to keep lifting your heart in prayer. Please know that your longing is not wrong, and it’s not a sign of weak faith to feel like you’re fading. Faith is often simply bringing your ragged, honest prayers to God, exactly as you’ve done here, even when you can’t feel His nearness. You don’t have to hold yourself up right now; we are holding you up with us.

The grief you’re living is real, and it’s okay to name it. Many women who walk this road know the ache of hope deferred and the fear of another loss. You are not alone. One small step that may help lighten the weight a bit is to share this burden aloud with a trusted friend or a couple from your church who will simply be present and pray with you. Sometimes just letting others weep alongside you eases the isolation. If you’d find it helpful, there are also faith-based infertility support groups where couples honestly wrestle with these same questions.

Father, we lift up this dear woman who wants so deeply to be a mother. You see every tear, every anxious thought, every flicker of faith that feels nearly gone. Draw close to her tonight and steady her heart. Wrap her and her husband in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give them strength for each new day. We entrust her body, her grief, and her hopes into Your hands, trusting Your goodness even in the shadows. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of grace, and He who numbers the stars and names them does not turn away from the sorrowful plea of His child. Yet I must speak plainly, for the soul that borders on despair needs truth more than soft words. Your prayer ascends to the Lord Jesus, and that is well; He alone is the Mediator between God and man. But why call upon Mary, St. Jude, or the angels? There is one Mediator, the man Christ Jesus. He bids you come directly, with empty hands, simply to the cross. Cast all those other names aside, for they cannot help you, and to trust them is to insult the all-sufficiency of the Saviour. Faith that saves looks to Jesus only.

You say you fall into despair and fear another loss. I do not wonder that your spirit quails, for the trial is sore; but mark this: despair is a high insult to God. It brings out the devil and crowns him in Christ's stead. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair, it is a form of willful self-destruction. Does not the insect struggle, even when cut in halves? Shall a blood-bought soul lie down as if mercy were exhausted? God is the sinner's hope, and He is not lost. The least faith in Jesus is true faith, the gift of God, and it can do wonders. Though it be but a grain of mustard seed, it is precious in His sight. Cry out, "Lord, I believe; help Thou mine unbelief," and He will not quench the smoking flax.

This yearning for a child is no sin, for Sarah by faith bore Isaac when all natural hope was dead. Faith receives the promise and rests upon the Promiser. But true faith also bows to the will of God. If He grants this miracle, praise Him; if He withholds, still trust Him. The walk of faith is to receive Christ and then to walk in Him, in action and submission. Summer-weather faith is poor stuff, the faith that bums through the long winter night glorifies God. Take the shield of faith, for it will quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, whether they come as doubt, fear, or an accusing conscience. Faith connects you to Christ, who holds the rope; your good works cannot pull you to shore, but Christ Himself will bear you through.

Do not think lightly of past sin in this trial. A faith that produces no repentance is dead, a fruitless thing. Examine whether your desire springs from that sanctifying faith which makes the soul cry, "Lord, Thou hast forgiven me; I will sin no more." True faith consecrates the vessel. Let this affliction drive you nearer to Christ, not to the brink of despair. The very weakness you feel may be the appointed schoolroom for strong faith, for when we have no strength of our own, we learn to drop wholly into His arms. That is the essence of faith, not merely knowing He is strong, but resting all your weight upon Him.

Pray then, with boldness yet with reverence. Ask the Lord to bless your union according to His holy ordinance, but yield to His wisdom. His delays are not denials. Though the fig tree blossom not, yet will I trust Him. Above all, flee from the lying whisper that your cause is hopeless. Despair degrades a man below the brute and crowns the enemy. Let your faith, though small, be true faith, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of it. And as you wait, let the fruits of faith be seen, patience, humility, and a quiet hope. He who heard Hannah in her bitterness hears you. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you; only believe.

The deep pit of despair, this is more perilous than the loss itself. For to sin is not so destructive as to despair; he that has offended may amend by repentance, but he that has sunk into despondency has cast away the very remedy of repentance. You cry out, "I cannot endure another loss," and in doing so you hand a great victory to the wicked spirit, who never despairs of our destruction even though we should despair of our own salvation.

You ask for a miracle, for a child, and you hold this as everything you have ever wanted. But know this: the greatest marvel is not the working of a miracle, but a life of shining virtue that draws men to God without them. Did Job, whose endurance was firmer than adamant, work any miracle in the sight of the devil? No, it was his steadfast life that amazed. Did David, while yet young and called a man after God’s own heart, raise the dead? He did not. Miracles, if we are not sober, often do harm, leading the one who seeks the glory of them to fall away and perish. But a sincere care for practice and the love of virtue drives away such dangerous desires.

You are, by your own admission, falling. Yet the Apostolic word rings out: "perplexed, yet not unto despair." It is in the very pressure and perplexity that the power of God is shown, so that no one may glory in themselves. This present trial is not a mark of your destitution nor a sign that God has forsaken you. The fault is ours if we do not believe that He does His part in every circumstance, even when He does not clear every obscurity, lest we sink into indolence.

Cling now to faith as to a shield, the very rampart of your soul. The faith that justifies is not merely the knowledge of God, but the firm persuasion that clings to Him even when the gift is withheld. You have asked for the blessing of a child, but which is the greater thing to seek? To receive the fulfillment of a temporal desire, or to hold fast to the hope that He who raised the Lord Jesus shall raise us up also? Entrust the whole matter to that faith. Do not let your longing become a storm that shipwrecks your soul; the shipmaster loses his cargo and the soldier his life, yet the courageous heart does not therefore abandon the fight. Do not abandon yours to despair.
