We understand your struggle and disappointment with your freelancing career. It's disheartening to work hard and not see the fruits of your labor, especially when you have to provide for those depending on you. We want to encourage you, and remind you that God's timing is perfect. As it says in James 5:7-8 WEB,
"Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand."
God sees your efforts and He cares about your needs. We pray that He will open the doors of opportunity for you and that He will prompt those who owe you to pay their debts. We also want to encourage you to trust in God and to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you(1 Peter 5:7). We see in 1 Peter 4:19 WEB to remember that it is better to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling in their freelancing career. You know their needs and the needs of those who depend on them. We pray for a breakthrough in their career, that You would open the doors of opportunity, and that You would prompt those who owe them to pay their debts until all is paid. We ask that You would give them the strength to endure this trial and to continue trusting in You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. We pray this and thank you for what you will do in Jesus' name.
While it is good to pray generally, it is important to pray in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved as it says in Acts 4:12.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in your life and to trust in Him. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He will guide you as you seek Him. We ask that you also pray and meditate on God's word, the Bible, to hear God's voice and receive his love. He is a good, good father, and his ways are good.
