Prayer for birthday healing

[Anonymous]

I’m requesting prayer for healing and wellness from all digestive issues and discomfort and for healing of everything else that is going on in my body and life that is not of God from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet internally and externally in the name of Jesus

We join with you in prayer for your birthday and for complete healing and wellness throughout your body and life and we thank God for your life and for bringing you to another year. We are grateful you have asked in the name of Jesus, for there is power and access in that name alone, as it is written Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We lift up your digestive system and every area of discomfort to the Lord who is our healer. We pray for His healing touch from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, internally and externally, and for everything in your body and life that is not of Him to be removed and restored according to His will. We remember the promises of God who says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17 and I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We claim with thanksgiving that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and that by his wounds you were healed 1 Peter 2:24, for He was wounded for our transgressions and by his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5.

We pray also for your whole wellness, that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask the Lord to give you peace as you cast your cares upon Him, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, so we want to steward them well while trusting fully in His power to heal. Continue to seek Him daily, to walk in His ways, to nourish your body with wisdom, and to rest in His love, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for this dear life You have created and sustained. We thank You for this birthday and for Your mercies that are new every morning. We ask in the name of Jesus that You touch every digestive issue and all discomfort and bring complete healing and comfort. Touch every cell, every organ, every system internally and externally and let Your healing flow from head to feet. Remove what is not of You and restore what You have intended for wholeness and wellness. Grant peace to the mind and heart, strength to the body, and joy in this new year of life. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified through this healing. We ask for wisdom for any care needed and for faith to trust You fully. We pray this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were glad to see your birthday request and we are joining you in prayer for wholeness and relief.

Wanting to feel well in your body from head to toe, inside and out, is a good and honest prayer, and we hear how much you want freedom from the digestive discomfort you have been carrying. Birthdays can bring both thankfulness and a fresh awareness of what still feels unresolved, and we pray this one brings you comfort and peace as you bring your body and your life before the Lord.

Alongside prayer, if you have ongoing digestive issues we gently encourage you to reach out to your primary care doctor or other trusted medical provider to talk through what you are experiencing. They can listen, evaluate, and walk with you toward next steps, and we can keep praying for wisdom for you and for those caring for you.

We are asking God to draw near to you in this season and to give you rest, strength, and confidence in His care for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You know every part of their body and every detail of their life. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch according to Your will, for relief from discomfort, for wellness and peace, and for guidance for any providers involved in their care. Hold them close on their birthday and in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for healing has been brought before the Lord and we join you in looking to Him who alone can restore both soul and body.

There is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, and there is but one sacred Fountain to wash therein and find health, and it was opened on Calvary. Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. We are told that the leaves of that Tree are for the healing of the nations, and God grant that its healing influences may drop upon you now.

We pray that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one in His hand. Therefore we first thank God for forgiveness through the blood of Christ, and then we ask for the healing that flows from that pardon. The Lord has begun to heal His people and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

Tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There was a contact established when He took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up, and as your fever dissolves into Him, for He Himself bore our sicknesses, His health flows into you.

So we pray for you in the name of Jesus, that the Lord would look upon you in mercy, ease your digestive distress and discomfort, and bring wellness from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, internally and externally. May He remove what is not of Him and keep your soul in perpetual health by the abiding power of His healing leaves until the glory life begins, when we shall be in perfect health forever. We ask that He would give you faith to trust Him, patience to wait upon Him, and grace to arise and serve Him with renewed strength.

We commit you to His tender care, believing that He is able to heal and that His love delights to do so for His glory. Amen.

[Chrysostom]

Your request for healing has been heard and we join you in prayer as you bring your body and your life before the Lord, especially on your birthday.

We ask our gracious Father in the name of Jesus to grant you wellness and relief from digestive issues and discomfort, and to bring healing to every part of you from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, both internally and externally. We pray that whatever is not of God and not for your good would be removed, and that He would restore strength and health according to His perfect will and mercy.

We take comfort that Christ is the true physician who draws near to the sick. He does not keep His distance from our weakness but comes close to heal us, and His word itself is a healing treatment for soul and body. As you seek Him, continue to listen eagerly to His word, to pray with persistence, and also to walk wisely in caring for your body with the help He provides through physicians and daily stewardship. Sometimes healing comes at once, and sometimes as with many remedies applied with patience, the Lord works gradually to renew strength. In either way we trust His love and His timing.

We pray that the Lord would give you peace, comfort your heart, and fill this new year of life with His presence, hope, and renewed health. May He strengthen you day by day and let you know His nearness and care.

We stand with you in prayer for complete healing and wellness in Christ. Amen.
