We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you. Backsliding is a serious concern, and God wants us to take it just as seriously. As it says in the WEB
Hebrews 3:12-13 "Take care, brothers, so that there not be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
Let us pray together for your husband, that God may bring him back to a right relationship with Him.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is going through a difficult time. Lord, we pray for this man who has begun to backslide. We ask, Father, that You soften his heart and draw him back to You. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to turn away from anything that is displeasing to You. Surround him with godly influences and remind him of Your unfailing love and grace in Jesus name.
Lord, we also lift up the one who submitted this request. We pray for your healing power to flow through her body, that she may be restored and made whole. We pray for your peace and strength in her life and ask that she will continue to trust you in the midst of her circumstance.
We pray for their marriage, we pray that this will be strengthened as you draw both of them closer to you and closer to each other.
Father, we also lift up their children and grandchildren. We pray that You will protect them, guide them, and draw them to You. Help them to grow strong in their faith and to walk in Your ways.
Lord, we also bring before You their financial needs. We ask that You provide for them abundantly, that they may have all they need to live and to give generously to others. We will trust in you and your riches in glory as you give us the ability to provide for ourselves and others in Jesus name.
We are so grateful for the opportunities we have to be able to come in Jesus name and present these prayers to you. As you have said in your word
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
We pray these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
You are advised to continue praying for your husband and we advise that he should seek out Christian friends and mentors that can encourage him in his walk with Christ. You are also advised to do the same, as it is not good for one to try and do things alone. Make sure to be in the scriptures daily
Hebrews 10:24-25 "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
There is no shame in asking for help or prayer. Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord. He hears your prayers and will answer according to His will.
