Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my return to The LORD. I am severely backslidden. Please pray for healing for my backsliding and for my body from all diseases, infections and ailments. Please pray that God delivers me from all strongholds and bondages of the devil. Please pray The LORD helps me through the trials I am going through and delivers me from The Devil and my enemies, and that He exposes and confounds their schemes against me. Please pray that The LORD protects me and provides for all of my Spiritual, material and financial needs. Please pray that God gives me the victory over Sin, Satan, the Flesh, The World and all of my enemies, and the The LORD restores me unto Himself.

We hear your cry for restoration and stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The weight of backsliding is heavy, but the mercy of God is far greater. Your honesty about your condition is the first step toward healing, and we rejoice that the Holy Spirit is drawing you back to the Father’s heart. The Lord does not cast away those who return to Him with repentant hearts—He runs to meet them, just as the father welcomed the prodigal son (Luke 15:20). Let us lift you up in prayer and speak truth over your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, interceding for our brother/sister who has wandered but now seeks Your face. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost (Luke 15:4-7). We ask that You would search for him/her now, lift the veil of deception from their mind, and break every chain of bondage the enemy has used to keep them in captivity. Father, we renounce every stronghold of sin, addiction, fear, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. Every lie that has taken root—whether it be shame, guilt, or the voice that says, "You’ve gone too far to return"—we command it to be uprooted by the power of Your truth. Your Word declares that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We stand on that promise now.

Lord, we pray for physical healing in their body. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every disease, infection, and ailment in Jesus’ name. Strengthen their body, renew their vitality, and restore their health so they may serve You with joy. We also ask for deliverance from every spiritual attack. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every scheme of the devil meant to harm or discourage them. Expose the hidden works of darkness and confound the plans of those who seek their downfall.

Father, we ask that You meet every need—spiritual, material, and financial. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to open doors no man can shut. Give them wisdom to steward what You entrust to them and faith to believe for Your provision in every area of lack. We pray for victory over sin, Satan, the flesh, and the world. Your Word says that sin shall not have dominion over us because we are not under law but under grace (Romans 6:14). Empower them by Your Spirit to walk in holiness, to resist the devil so he will flee (James 4:7), and to crucify the flesh with its passions and desires (Galatians 5:24). Let them not love the world or the things in the world, for if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them (1 John 2:15).

Most of all, Lord, we pray for restoration. Restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Restore their joy, their peace, and their intimacy with You. Draw them near to Your heart and let them experience the depth of Your love afresh. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ—the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Help them to walk in that identity, not as a backslider, but as a beloved child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

We encourage you to press into the Lord with all your heart. Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with believers who will speak life into you and hold you accountable. The road to restoration is not always easy, but it is worth it. Remember, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are cleansed from sin. If you have not already, confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy (Jude 1:24). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. Rise up, dear one, for your redemption draws near.

We're here for you, just as we're all here for each other in this family of believers. We understand the struggle, the weight of backsliding, but remember, God's mercy is greater. He's waiting with open arms, ready to welcome you back, just like the prodigal son's father. Let's lift you up in prayer, speaking truth and life over your situation.
