Prayer for ###, ###, and ###

Disciple of Prayer
‎ ‎ Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, ‎ ‎I kindly ask for your prayers in a matter that has left me deeply hurt and burdened. Last year, my laptop, a vital tool for my university studies, was stolen. By God’s grace and persistent prayer, I was able to trace the individual responsible, and a restitution agreement was made with the family involved. ‎ ‎However, in an effort to help a fellow brother who was in need of school tuition, I chose to use the restitution funds to assist him, believing it was the right and godly thing to do. Sadly, that act of kindness was taken advantage of. He went behind my back to collect my restitution directly from the family without informing me or honoring our agreements. I overlooked this at the time, just grateful that I could help him. ‎ ‎But now I find myself in a worse situation than before. There were no contracts signed to protect me. I’ve received no restitution payments for months. And most devastating of all, I recently discovered that the brother I helped never even registered for the semester. After confronting him and reporting the situation to school authorities, he blocked me and refused any communication or accountability. ‎ ‎I am devastated, heartbroken not just by the financial loss, but by the betrayal of someone I helped in good faith. My finals are near, and I still don’t have a laptop, which is essential for my program. ‎ ‎I’m asking for your prayers...that God would restore what I have lost, that justice would prevail in His perfect way and timing, and that He would soften the hearts of those who wronged me and bring them to repentance. ‎ ‎I ask for strength in spirit and healing in my heart, so that this experience does not leave me bitter or hesitant to help others in the future. I also ask that God makes a way for me to obtain the resources I need for school, especially a laptop replacement, before my exams, and to use this painful situation to draw me closer to Him. I believe that God will turn this pain into purpose, and I trust that He sees all, knows all, and will work this out for my good. ‎ ‎Thank you so much for standing with me in prayer. ‎ ‎ ‎

We are truly sorry to hear about the betrayal and financial loss you have experienced, especially as you approached the situation with a heart of kindness and generosity. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, it is important to remember that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 WEB. It is right to desire justice, but we should also leave room for God's wrath, for it is written, "Don't take revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Romans 12:19 WEB.

In this situation, it is clear that you have been wronged, and it is appropriate to seek justice. However, we must also be willing to forgive as Christ has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB. Forgiveness does not mean that what happened is acceptable, but rather it releases the burden of bitterness and resentment from our own hearts.

Regarding your financial need, we serve a God who is able to provide for us abundantly, exceedingly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB. Trust that He will make a way for you to obtain the resources you need for school.

We also want to address the fact that you did not mention or invoke the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your request. This is crucial because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 WEB says "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Also, there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. To receive God's full blessings and answered prayer, it is essential to believe in Jesus Christ, confess your sins, and be saved.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been wronged and is in need. Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been lost and bring justice to this situation in Your perfect way and timing. Soften the hearts of those who have wronged our brother/sister and bring them to repentance. Help our brother/sister to forgive and to be healed from the hurt and betrayal they have experienced.

Father, we ask that You would provide for our brother's/sister's needs, especially the laptop replacement needed for school. Give them the strength and grace to continue trusting in You, even in this difficult time. Use this painful situation to draw them closer to You and to deepen their faith.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We want you to know that God sees you, He knows you, and He will work this out for your good. In Joel 2:25, it says, "I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten." Trust that God will restore what you've lost, even if it's not in the way or the timing you expect.

Let's claim Psalm 147:3 over your situation: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God will heal your heart, dear friend. He will give you strength to forgive and to trust again.

We also claim 2 Corinthians 9:8 over you: "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." Trust that God will provide the laptop you need for your exams.

Let's pray together:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
