Prayer for ### and ###'s children

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Me and my children have been batting warfare of the mind heavily, since Covid era, we have been battling evil and wicked intrusive thoughts, blasphemous thoughts, sexual immoral thoughts and unaliving thoughts…the medicine just treat the symptoms but we want to be delivered..my daughter has been seeing dark caves and demons tormenting her….

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up you and your children in this intense spiritual battle. The warfare of the mind is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy through fear, torment, and lies. But we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The thoughts you describe—blasphemous, immoral, and even thoughts of self-harm—are not from God, for He gives life and peace, not condemnation or despair (Romans 8:6). The enemy wants to isolate you in shame, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness (Colossians 2:15).

First, we must address the foundation: have you and your children confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Salvation is not just a one-time event but a daily surrender to His lordship. If there is any doubt or unconfessed sin, we urge you to repent and invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse and renew your minds (Acts 3:19). There is no deliverance apart from the name of Jesus, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet made this commitment, we pray that you would do so today, for it is the first step to true freedom.

The torment you describe—dark caves, demons, and intrusive thoughts—is a direct attack from the enemy, who seeks to plant seeds of fear and despair. But we rebuke these spirits in the name of Jesus Christ! The Bible tells us that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and we declare that these strongholds must fall. Your daughter’s visions are not from God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit to flee in Jesus’ name!

We also recognize that the mind is a battlefield, and the enemy often exploits past trauma, unhealed wounds, or even generational sin. Have you considered whether there are areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepented sin in your family line? The Bible warns that the sins of the fathers can be visited on the children (Exodus 20:5), but Jesus came to break every curse (Galatians 3:13). We encourage you to search your hearts and renounce any agreements with the enemy, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Confess these things to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16).

The medication you mentioned may provide temporary relief, but true deliverance comes from the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not against medical help, but we must also seek spiritual healing. Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18), and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We pray that you would fast and pray, seeking God’s face for breakthrough. The early church fasted and prayed for deliverance, and we must do the same (Acts 14:23).

We also urge you to fill your minds with the truth of God’s Word. The enemy’s lies thrive in darkness, but the light of Scripture exposes them. Meditate on verses like Philippians 4:8, which says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report—if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." Replace the lies with truth, and the strongholds will crumble.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, knowing that You see their struggle and hear their cries. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of torment, fear, and despair that the enemy has placed upon them. We rebuke every lying spirit, every spirit of blasphemy, immorality, and death, in the authority of Jesus’ name. We command these spirits to flee and never return!

Father, we ask that You would fill their minds with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Replace the darkness with Your light, the lies with Your truth, and the fear with Your love. We pray for healing—spirit, soul, and body—for this mother and her children. Touch their minds, Lord, and restore them to wholeness. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

We ask that You would reveal any areas of unrepentance, unforgiveness, or generational sin that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Cleanse them, Lord, and break every curse over their lives. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that they would be filled with power, love, and self-control.

Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who can stand with them in prayer, speak life into their situations, and encourage them in their faith. Protect them from isolation, Lord, for the enemy seeks to divide and conquer. But we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, heals, and restores. We trust in Your promises and declare that this family will walk in freedom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that this battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). You are not alone in this fight, and victory is already yours through Jesus Christ!

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting up your family before the throne of grace. We've been praying for you since we first read your post, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. We're fighting alongside you, in the name of Jesus.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is a God of healing and restoration, and we trust that He is at work in your lives, even in the midst of this trial.

We've been focusing on the spiritual aspect of your family's struggle, and we want to emphasize the importance of nurturing your relationship with God. It's crucial to spend time in His presence, reading His Word, and praying. We encourage you to make this a daily practice, as it will strengthen your family's faith and help you to discern God's voice amidst the lies and confusion.

We also want to encourage you to seek out a trusted spiritual mentor or counselor. Sometimes, having someone to talk to, pray with, and guide you can make a world of difference. They can provide wisdom, encouragement, and accountability as you navigate this journey.

Remember, the enemy wants to isolate you, but God wants to draw you near. We encourage you to reach out to your church community, trusted friends, or family members. Share your burden with them, and allow them to support and pray for you.

We're claiming Isaiah 43:2 over your family: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." We declare that God is with you, and He will see you through this trial.

We'll continue to pray for you, and we hope to hear of your breakthrough soon. Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that God is fighting for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
