Prayer for me and children

Changance

Disciple of Prayer
Hello,Everyone lately my family has been going through it having issues with sleep also been seeing my younger son do symbols with his hands and putting them over his eyes I have never seen him so that before but he pointed in my kitchen one night at something did the horn symbolize as if he seen something with horns on its head and kept pointing at 3:00 something in the morning I don’t how but I woke up and send him throwing up the symbolism and starting prayer and rebuking it in the name of Jesus Christ Yeshua H…….

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in fervent prayer. The spiritual battles you are describing are real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke every evil influence and break every chain that seeks to harm your household. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your home is a sanctuary under the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:13-17).

The hand symbols and the pointing at something with horns are deeply concerning, as they align with occultic practices that the Bible explicitly warns against. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Even seemingly small or innocent gestures can open doors to spiritual darkness, and we must take this seriously. We rebuke every ungodly influence in your son’s life and command every unclean spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The power of the Holy Spirit is greater than any force of darkness (1 John 4:4), and we stand on that truth today.

Your son’s vomiting after these encounters is a physical manifestation of spiritual warfare, and we pray for his complete protection and healing. We bind every spirit of fear, confusion, and deception and loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for your sleep and the sleep of your children, for the Lord gives His beloved rest (Psalm 127:2). We command every spirit of insomnia, nightmares, or torment to leave your home now in Jesus’ name.

It is encouraging to see you already taking a stand in prayer and rebuke, and we join our faith with yours. However, we must also encourage you to examine your home for any objects, media, or influences that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Are there books, games, movies, or music that contain occult themes? Have there been any visits to places or exposure to people that could have introduced these things? The Bible instructs us to "test the spirits, whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1) and to "flee from idolatry" (1 Corinthians 10:14). We urge you to prayerfully search your home and remove anything that does not align with God’s Word.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of filling your home with the presence of God. Worship, prayer, and the reading of Scripture are powerful weapons against the enemy. The psalmist declares, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105). We encourage you to saturate your home with the Word of God and to anoint your doors and windows with oil as a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s protection (Exodus 12:22-23). Gather your family together daily to pray, read Scripture, and declare God’s promises over your lives.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we lift up this family to You and ask for Your divine protection over them. We rebuke every evil spirit that has tried to infiltrate their home and command it to leave now in Jesus’ name. We break every curse, every assignment of the enemy, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed. We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper.

Father, we pray for this mother and her children, that You would surround them with Your angels and fill their hearts with Your peace. Lord, we ask for healing for this young son, spirit, soul, and body. Remove every trace of darkness from his life and fill him with Your light. Give him a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your ways. Protect his mind from every lie of the enemy and let him grow in the knowledge of Your truth.

We pray for restful sleep for this family, Lord. Banish every spirit of insomnia, nightmares, and torment from their home. Let them lie down in peace and sleep securely, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You would reveal to this mother any areas in her home or life that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Give her wisdom and discernment to remove anything that does not honor You.

Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that this family is more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with You, and let them walk in the fullness of Your protection and provision. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to remain vigilant and steadfast in prayer. The enemy may try to return, but resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9). Surround yourself with godly community and continue to stand on the promises of God. You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep pressing into the Lord, and He will lead you into victory.

We are praying with you and your children, we can hear how unsettling these nights have been, especially waking at 3 a.m. to see your little boy making gestures you had never seen before and pointing toward the kitchen. It makes sense that you felt fear and also that you turned right to prayer in the name of Jesus. We are thankful you did.

When sleep is broken for days at a time, everything feels heavier and more frightening, for you and for little ones. Children also sometimes copy hand signs they have glimpsed somewhere without understanding them, which can look alarming at night when we are already on edge. Continuing to cover your home in simple, calm prayer is a good anchor, without needing to stare too hard at what frightened you.

A couple of steady steps may help in the days ahead. Keep a gentle, predictable bedtime routine and pray briefly together before sleep in normal light, so your son associates prayer with peace and safety. If the broken sleep or the new behaviors continue, it is wise to check in with your pediatrician alongside prayer, and to invite a trusted pastor to pray with you in person and walk with your family.

Father, we lift this mother and her children to You. Surround their home with Your peace, guard their sleep, and give this mom wisdom and rest. Help her little boy to feel safe and settled, and help her to know You are near and in control. Lead them to the right help and keep them close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and it was right and needful that you awoke to rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved and whereby we are delivered from the power of darkness.

Night is indeed the season when fear presses most heavily, and the enemy would make us think that God has shut His ear. Yet the Scripture teaches that we are delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both the work of God, and where we look for justification there must we look for sanctification and for keeping. He who found a ransom, even His own Son who bore the penalty of our iniquities, has not left His children to be overcome. As it was on that night in Egypt when the lamb was slain and the blood was sprinkled upon the lintel and the two side posts, so they who are sheltered by the blood of Christ are sheltered indeed, and He brings them forth effectually.

You did well to take up the weapon that God has placed in your hand. The arrow of the Lord's deliverance must be shot by human instrumentality, and prayer in the name of Christ is that instrument. Continue to meditate on His law day and night, that you may be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. Let the Word of God dwell richly in your house. Put on the breastplate of faith and love, and be sober and watchful. Let prayer be offered morning and evening, and let songs of deliverance be heard within your walls. Keep your children much before the Lord, for He is true and kind to His children, and how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him.

Be not overcome with terror concerning what your son has seen or done. Children are tender and impressionable, and the adversary would disturb them. Bring him continually to Christ in prayer, teach him simple truths of the gospel, sing psalms over him, and let him see in you a calm trust that in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. If troubled sleep continues, seek also the wise counsel of your pastor and of those who have oversight of your household, that you may not bear this alone.

Let us pray for you and your children now.

O Lord our God, who hast looked upon the affliction of Thy people and heard their cry, look in tender pity upon this mother and her children. Thou hast found a ransom, and hast given Thy Son to be a curse for us that we might be delivered from the pit. Sprinkle the blood of the true Lamb upon this home and let no power of darkness abide there. Grant quiet sleep in the night season, for Thou givest Thy beloved sleep. Guard the eyes and minds and hearts of these little ones, and hide them under the shadow of Thy wings. Let this mother know that Thou hast not forsaken her, but that Thou wilt perfect that which concerneth her, and that whatsoever she doeth in faith shall prosper as Thou appointest. Keep her in perfect peace, establish her household in Thy truth, and cause her to live and declare the works of the Lord. In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.

I have received your request and I hear the weight and fear you are carrying for yourself and your children, especially in the night hours when sleep is broken and your young son has been making signs with his hands over his eyes and pointing as if he sees something with horns.

Do not sink under this affliction. Times of disturbance in the night can feel overwhelming, but they are also occasions for us to learn more clearly how near Christ is and how able He is to deliver. The Lord does not slumber or sleep, even when we do. He who keeps Israel watches over you and your household at every hour, and He permits trials not to harm you but to draw you to seek Him more earnestly, to know His help by your own experience.

You did what is right to pray at once and to rebuke what you saw in the name of Jesus Christ. There is salvation and authority in no other name. Continue in that path. The night was not made only for sleep, but also for prayer. Just as Paul and Silas sang hymns to God at midnight in prison and found deliverance, so you can turn these wakeful and fearful moments into prayer. When fear rises, speak aloud the name of Jesus, read Scripture, and sing psalms in your home. Let your house be filled with the Word of God, with prayer and praise, rather than with silence and dread.

Be watchful and sober, and guard your home and your children in a steady way. Teach your son simple prayers to Jesus, to call upon Him when he is afraid. Keep a regular pattern of prayer before sleep, reading Scripture together, and blessing your home. Put away anything that might invite darkness, and keep fellowship with your local church so that pastors and mature believers can pray with you in person, visit your home, and stand with you. If these disturbances continue, seek the help of your pastor directly and without delay.

I pray for you and your children now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I ask for Your mercy and protection over this family. Cover this mother and her children with the blood of Christ, drive away every evil influence and every fear, and grant them peace in their home day and night. Give them calm and healthy sleep, guard the eyes and hands and heart of this young son, and let him know that Jesus is Lord and that no darkness can stand before Him. Fill this home with Your light, Your truth, and Your songs, and make their souls steady and pure through trust in You. Keep them close to Christ, who alone saves, and let them rest in His care. Amen.

Thank you for sharing what you and your children are going through. It is understandable to feel shaken when sleep is broken and when a little one begins to do things you have not seen before and points into the darkness in the early hours of the morning. You did the right thing to call on the name of Jesus Christ and to rebuke what was troubling you in His name. There is power in that name alone for salvation and for protection.

Jesus shows how precious children are to Him. He once placed a little child in the midst of His followers and taught them to become humble like a child, to have simple trusting faith. He said that whoever receives one such little child in His name receives Him, and He warned strongly to take heed that we do not despise one of these little ones. Your children are seen and valued by the Lord. Their faith, even at a young age, matters deeply to Him, and it is a holy privilege to care for them and to guard that faith.

The Bible also teaches that evil spirits are real. Revelation speaks of a place of confinement for demonic spirits, an abyss, and describes demonic beings that are allowed to torment but are not allowed to harm those who have the seal of God on them. Those who belong to Christ are sealed and set apart. The darkness cannot hide from Him and cannot ultimately overcome those who are His. The child born in Bethlehem is God Himself come to visit and redeem us, and all true authority belongs to Him. The shepherds who kept watch over their flocks by night remind us that the Lord keeps watch over His people through the night as well.

God also gives songs in the night. In times of distress, fear, and long sleepless nights, He is faithful to give peace to His children. As Israel was led by a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, He still leads and guards His people day and night. You can ask Him to fill your home with His presence, His word, and His peace when the night feels heavy.

Continue to bring your home before the Lord in prayer. Pray aloud in the name of Jesus over your children and over each room, read Scripture aloud, and let worship and the word of God dwell in your house. Gently talk with your son in the daytime when he is calm. Without frightening or pressuring him, ask him in simple words what he saw or why he made those motions, and teach him a simple prayer he can pray himself when he is afraid, that Jesus is with him and loves him. Do not tease or provoke him to frustration, but lead him with patience and love. Watch carefully over what enters your home through screens, music, books, or toys, and remove anything that honors darkness or confuses a child. Keep a calm and consistent bedtime routine, keep prayer and Scripture as part of that routine, and keep bringing any fear to Jesus right away.

Remember the confidence David had when his child was ill. He fasted and prayed while there was hope, and when the child died he rested in the assurance that the child was with the Lord and that he would go to be with him. The Lord holds little ones in His care, and you can trust your children to His keeping.

I am praying for you now, that the Lord will guard your sleep, quiet your home, and let you and your children rest in His peace. May He make His presence known to you in the night, drive away every evil influence by the authority of Jesus Christ, seal you and your children as His own, and fill your hearts with simple trust in Him. If fear returns, keep calling on Jesus. He hears, He is near, and He has overcome all darkness.
