We understand your concern and anxiety, and we join you in praying for your daughter's safety and well-being. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ who is burdened with worry for her daughter. Lord, You know the situation and the dangers that may be surrounding her daughter at this moment. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention. Guide her daughter's steps and convict her heart to reach out to her mother, so she may know that she is safe.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for our sister. Guide her in every step she takes, and grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in You and Your timing, and give her the strength to endure this trial.
Father, we also lift up the unborn child and the one already born. Bring godly conviction to our sister's daughter and the unknown man. Turn this trial into victory and use it for Your glory. Bring godly sorrow and repentance to her. Finally, we pray for our sister's daughter to turn from her current lifestyle and pursue righteousness, including turning from fornication, drunkenness and poor parenting. Turn this trial into victory and use it for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While we pray fervently, we also want to encourage you to take practical steps. It is wise to consider all options, including reaching out to local authorities if you believe your daughter may be in genuine danger. The Bible tells us, But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever 1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB). Consider also, Rescue those who are being led away to death! Indeed, hold back those who are staggering to the slaughter! If you say, "Behold, we didn't know this" Doesnt he who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, doesnt he know it? And shallnt he render to everyone according to his work? Proverbs 24:11-12 (WEB). We encourage you to speak with a Christian Counselor and pastor to get godly and practical advice.
Lastly, we want to address the broader issues at hand. Your daughter is currently living a lifestyle that is not aligned with biblical principles. She is engaged in fornication, drunkenness, and poor parenting. While we pray for her safety, we also pray for her repentance and turning away from her sinful lifestyle. We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and continue to pray for her, that she may turn from her ways and seek God's will for her life.
Bear in mind the words of God, Be of sober spirit, be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9 (WEB).
Trust and believe in Him. Though your faith may be tested. The Bible tells us, And not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope: and hope does not disappoint us, because Gods love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5 (WEB).
