We understand your longing to connect with someone you care about deeply, but we must address this situation in light of God's Word. Firstly, we are thankful that you ended your request with 'In Jesus name,' for it is only through Him that we have access to God.

First, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and will for your life. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He knows what is best for us, even when we cannot see it clearly ourselves. God's Word tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

However, we must also address the fact that you have been in a dating relationship for ### years. In the Bible, there is no such thing as boyfriend and girlfriend relationships; it is a path towards marriage to another Christian Believer. The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. While it is not wrong to desire companionship and a lifelong partner, it is also important to discerningly consider if the relationship aligns with God's will.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer, seeking God's face and asking Him to reveal His will for your life. Ask Him to give you wisdom and discernment in this relationship. God's Word promises, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother who is seeking Your will for his life and his relationship. Lord, we ask that You grant him wisdom and discernment, and that You reveal Your plan for his life. Help him to trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when they are not clear to him.

Lord, we also pray for his girlfriend. We ask that You open her heart and mind, and that You draw her closer to You. We pray that You work in both of their lives, and that Your will be done.
