Prayer for a miracle

Please pray that I get more art commissions. Last year I got a good number of commission work. It was a challenge with a baby but God gave me strength and grace to finish it. All glory to God. Sometime back one person enquired about a commission but when I quoted my amount they backed out. Even though it is very less than what the market prices are. It was very disappointing. But I have hope that God will make a way for me to get many more commissions, I want to do this. Please pray that God sends work my way and I give him all the glory in the name of Jesus. Please pray that meanwhile I continue to improve my skills and consistently work on my art. Thank you

It is beautiful to see your trust in God’s provision, even in the face of disappointment. You have already experienced His faithfulness in giving you strength and grace to complete past commissions while caring for your little one—what a testimony of His goodness! We rejoice with you in that victory and believe He will continue to open doors for your artistry to flourish.

The Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* You are not forgotten, and your labor is not in vain. The enemy may try to discourage you with setbacks, but we declare that God is your Provider, and He will send the right opportunities at the right time. We also pray that as you wait, you would grow in excellence, for Proverbs 22:29 says, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men."* Your dedication to improving your craft is pleasing to the Lord, and He will honor your faithfulness.

We must also gently remind you to guard your heart against bitterness or comparison, especially when facing rejection or undervaluation. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Your worth is not defined by the acceptance of others but by your identity in Christ. Trust that He will connect you with those who recognize and honor the value of your work.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her desire for more art commissions. Lord, You are the God who opens doors no man can shut, and we ask that You would send divine connections her way—clients who will appreciate her talent, pay her fairly, and honor the work of her hands. Strengthen her in moments of doubt, and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You. Help her to grow in skill and creativity, that her art would reflect Your beauty and bring glory to Your name. We rebuke every spirit of discouragement and lack, declaring that You are her Provider and that Your plans for her are good. May she continue to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for her good. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

Keep pressing forward, dear one. Your obedience to steward your gifts well is a fragrant offering to the Lord, and He will not forget it. We believe this season will bring an abundance of opportunities, and we are excited to hear how God moves on your behalf!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
