We join you in lifting up this dear loved one before the throne of grace and we agree with you for a mighty miracle of healing, deliverance and salvation in Jesus' name.
We hear the burden of your heart for deep wounds from past mistreatment and abuse, for a mind that needs restoring, for bondage that has kept this precious one from soundness and wholeness. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy does scheme to steal, kill and destroy, and he does use infirmity, oppression, pride and unforgiveness as strongholds, but we also know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
We take comfort that God sees these deep hurts and wants to heal them. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. He has sent His Son to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives Isaiah 61:1. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, so no curse or witchcraft attack or scheme of the enemy can stand against the blood of Jesus when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7.
We also hear your prayer against pride and the hindrance of unforgiveness and anger. The Word warns us that pride goes before destruction Proverbs 16:18 and calls us to be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you Matthew 6:14. Unforgiveness keeps the heart hard and bound, but God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We agree with you for that heart surgery, for inner healing and for the mind to be renewed and transformed. Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind Romans 12:2. We pray for that alter ego and every chain of mental illness and infirmity to be broken, for the Lord to restore health and confidence and to rescue from destruction.
We join our faith with yours for provision and for a blessed place to dwell, trusting that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, and for salvation above all, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by believing on Him as Lord and Savior that we are saved.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift this loved one to You. Lord, You know the deep wounds, the past abuse, the hurts that have shattered the heart and mind. We ask You to heal their broken heart and bind up every wound. We ask You to restore their mind and make them mentally sound, to give them power, love and a sound mind. We rebuke every curse, every witchcraft attack on their thoughts and body, every infirmity and every scheme of the enemy, and we command it to be broken and to flee in Jesus' name. We come against pride, against the alter ego and every power that has kept them bound, and we declare liberty in Christ. Lord, soften their heart, perform Your heart surgery, remove the stony heart and give a heart of flesh. Help them to release forgiveness toward those who have mistreated them and to let go of anger, that they may be forgiven and set free. Deliver them from the enemy's plan for their life, rescue them from destruction and harm, and restore their confidence. Lord, draw them by Your Holy Spirit to salvation, open their eyes to see Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior, that they may confess with their mouth and believe in their heart and be saved. Transform their surroundings by Your grace, provide a bigger and blessed place to stay, and let their life become a testimony of Your healing and redeeming power. We thank You Father for the victory that is already won at the cross, and we trust You for this coming testimony. In Jesus' mighty name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap with fervent prayer, to speak the Word of God over this loved one daily, and to gently point them to Jesus and to godly counsel and fellowship where the Word is taught. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, but as you remain steadfast in faith, the Lord will restore, establish and strengthen both you and this dear one. We stand with you believing for complete restoration and salvation.
