Beloved of All
I have read your request and I am praying with you in this heavy season of waiting. Feeling hopeless while you are trying to provide for your children, looking for work that does not come, dealing with the loss of your car, the stress of stolen identity and government assistance, tension at home with your mother, and the ache of your children being away longer than you agreed is a great burden to carry. God sees all of these needs and He invites you to bring them directly to Him.
Scripture teaches that God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of our sin and the removal of our guilt, and that is through His only Son, Jesus Christ. No amount of effort or good works can save us, with man it is impossible, but God has opened the way through the blood of Jesus. The Spirit bears witness to this truth. Because Jesus has opened the door, you do not need another mediator. You can come boldly to the throne of grace yourself to make your requests known. When Jesus was told His mother and brothers were outside seeking Him, He asked, who is my mother and who are my brothers, and then pointed to His disciples and said that whoever does the will of God is His brother and sister and mother. We are joined as the family of God through our common relationship with Jesus, and you can go directly to Him in prayer. He hears you.
For your work, I am praying that God will provide for you and your children and open the right door in His timing. Even when applications seem to go nowhere, God is able to work where we cannot. In the law God even made a provision for the cleansing of a leper, a condition that was incurable by human means, leaving room for Himself to do a miracle if He so desired. That shows His heart to leave room to work on behalf of His people. He is not boxed in by a staffing agency process, a temporary assignment, or a lack of transportation. Ask Him for daily provision, for favor with the company considering you for the Benefits Specialist role, and for wisdom for the next steps while you wait.
For your home situation, the Bible commands us to honor father and mother, which includes showing respect even when the relationship is painful and volatile. Honoring does not mean you must accept harsh or angry treatment without boundaries, but it does mean seeking peace where you can, speaking with grace and truth, and asking God to guard your heart from bitterness while you live under the same roof. Pray for your mother as well, that God would soften what is hard and bring more peace into the home.
For your children, I am praying that God will watch over them while they are with their father and that His will would be done in bringing them back to you at the right time in a peaceful way. God cares deeply about families. His design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends that children be raised in that security. Because of the hardness of human hearts, God allowed provisions for when people fail to live up to that ideal, but failure in this area is not beyond His grace and forgiveness when we come to Him through Jesus. Whatever has led to this separation, God can still redeem and guide you as you seek to walk in His will now.
And for your prayer to find a husband, I am praying that God would prepare you and, if it is His will, bring a godly man who will love Jesus first and love you and your children faithfully within the covenant of marriage as God designed it. While you wait, continue to seek first to do the will of the Father, for that is what marks us as part of His family.
Let me pray for you. Father, I lift this dear one to You through Jesus Christ alone. Thank You that You have made one way for forgiveness and access to Your throne. I ask that You would show her Your mercy and draw her close to Jesus. Provide for her financial needs, open a stable job that fits the skills You have given her, and make a way regarding transportation and the appeal for assistance after this identity theft. Bring peace into her home and give her wisdom in relating to her mother. Watch over her children and work in the situation with their father that they would be returned in Your will and in peace. Guard her heart from hopelessness and fill her with hope as she waits on You. In Jesus name, amen.
