Thank you for sharing your heart and inviting others to pray with you. God commands His people to pray for one another, and it is a privilege to stand with you in faith and bring these requests before Him.
Your desire for determination to do what is godly and to use the time God has given you well is pleasing to Him. So many people drift through life wasting time and following their own desires without ever truly seeking the will of God for their lives. Your prayer to hear the Word, to do it, to keep it, and to teach it to others reflects what Scripture calls us to be, not hearers only but doers of the Word. That means turning your feet away from every evil way so that you may keep His precepts and not depart from His judgments. When you love His Word and His commandments and learn to hate every false way and every form of evil, you will find direction for each step, for His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.
The Word is also what will sustain you in times of affliction. Without the Word dwelling in your heart you would have no anchor when trouble comes, but when it abides in you it keeps you and strengthens you. It is the sword of the Spirit, your greatest defense in the spiritual battle, and the reason you can overcome the wicked one. Young men are described as strong because the Word of God abides in them. In the same way, as you continue in the Word, you will have wisdom, understanding, and true knowledge that does not change.
You also prayed against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. Scripture teaches that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against those spiritual forces of darkness. The good news is that Jesus has already defeated them. Through His cross He triumphed over principalities and powers and made an open display of His victory. You do not fight for victory but from the victory He has already won. In that battle, instead of spending your strength complaining about circumstances, take the promises of God and put them against your situations and praise Him for those promises. As you praise Him for His faithfulness to watch over you, to deliver you, to keep you and to bless you, He brings victory while you are praising.
Your hope can rest on a solid foundation because the Word of God cannot fail. God watches over His Word to perform it, and He will watch over your life to fulfill His purposes in you. Even when it seems that people have made void the law of God, it is time for the Lord to work, and He will bring His people into ultimate victory. He is faithful to His Word, faithful to His promises, and faithful to His people. Those who keep His Word and do His commandments will know His blessing, and one day hear, well done, good and faithful servant.
I am praying with you now that God will give you understanding as His servant, that He will show you mercy and quicken you according to His Word. I pray He will give you a deep love for His Word and for Him, and a hatred for sin and unrighteousness. I pray He will help you redeem the time that remains, to walk in obedience and to be faithful in the small things He places before you. I pray He will guard you from the schemes of the enemy, clothe you in the whole armor of God, and cause you to stand in the victory of the cross. And I pray that whatever favor, blessing, and work He does in your life will result in glory to Him, that His glory would be seen and known, for our God is going to win and His righteous judgments will prevail.
May the Lord establish you in His Word and keep you by His grace as you continue to seek Him.
