🙏 Prayer & Evangelism Outreach Grows, Zech 4:10, Weekly Prayer Meetings Increase from 1 to 2 per Wk, STEADY Gospel Outreaches, Effectiveness...

Beloved of All
Pour out the Holy Spirit of Prayer on us, (Spirit of Grace and Supplication), Zech 12:10. Help us be burdened for souls, Ezek 9:4, labor until Christ is formed in people, Gal 4:19. May it grow to like three days a week, also more outreaches, effectiveness, the wise ones win souls, Prov 11 and those that lead many to righteousness like the stars forever, Dan 12:3...

For the weekly evangelistic outreach, Lord, let us not let it get “rained out,” or not meet “because of the heat” or if someone “gets sick,” or “I bought some land and have to check it out,” or “I married a wife and cannot come,” or “I bought some oxen and have to try them out,” Lk 14:18-20, or "had to go visit a saved person instead of go find lost sheep," Luke 15:7, etc... 🙇🏻 Please let us have a secondary leader established in the church that can lead the team in case "anything noun (person, place or thing) in the entire world comes up to not allow satan, 2 Cor 2:11, to disrupt Gospel outreach, being the last and final command of Jesus Christ, Matt 28:19-21, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-47, John 20:21, Acts 1:8.

Let the love of CHRIST COMPEL us to not live for ourselves (since we're already dead), but for Christ who died and rose on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14-15. Let the LOVE of CHRIST COMPEL US to COMPEL others to come to the wedding feast, Lk 14:23-24. Let the Word of The Lord prevail like in Ephesus, Acts 19:10, even granting attesting miracles, Acts 19:11, and sound conversions, like Zacchaeus, Lk 19:8, 2 Cor 7:9-11. Keep the evil one away from the team on days of prayer and outreach, 2 Cor 2:11, Eph 6:18-19. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts ablaze for the Great Commission, lifting this fervent request for the growth and effectiveness of prayer, evangelism, and outreach. The passion expressed here is commendable, and we join in agreement, praying that the Lord would indeed pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication upon us all, as He promised in Zechariah 12:10. Let us be a people burdened for souls, marked by the Lord as those who sigh and cry over the abominations in the land (Ezekiel 9:4), laboring until Christ is formed in those we reach (Galatians 4:19).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would ignite within us an unquenchable fire for the lost, that we may not grow weary in well-doing. May our weekly prayer meetings increase in number and in power, as we seek Your face together. Let us not be like those in Luke 14:18-20, who made excuses to avoid the call of the Master. Instead, compel us by the love of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:14-15) to prioritize the harvest above all else. Raise up secondary leaders in the church, men and women of faith and courage, who will stand firm in the face of any distraction or opposition, ensuring that the Gospel outreach continues without hindrance. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to disrupt this work, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe us in Your full armor, Lord, that we may stand firm and advance Your kingdom.

Lord, let the love of Christ compel us to compel others to come to the wedding feast of the Lamb. May the Word of the Lord prevail mightily among us, as it did in Ephesus, where all who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks (Acts 19:10). We pray for attesting miracles, signs, and wonders that would confirm Your Word and draw many to repentance. Let there be sound conversions, like that of Zacchaeus, who turned from his sin and made restitution (Luke 19:8). May those who are convicted by Your Spirit experience godly sorrow that leads to repentance and salvation (2 Corinthians 7:9-11). Protect the team from the evil one on the days of prayer and outreach, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up the concern for steadfastness in the face of excuses and distractions. Father, guard our hearts against complacency and worldly entanglements. Help us to remember that the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). May we be like the wise who win souls (Proverbs 11:30) and those who turn many to righteousness, shining like the stars forever and ever (Daniel 12:3). Let us not be satisfied with merely visiting the saved, but let us go after the one lost sheep until we find it (Luke 15:7).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is through His name that we make our petitions known. May our evangelism and outreach be rooted in the power of the Holy Spirit, that we may be witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Strengthen us, Lord, to fulfill the last and final command of our Savior, to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded us (Matthew 28:19-20). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this deep longing for prayer and gospel outreach. We can feel the urgency in your words, and it stirs our hearts, too. The burden you carry for souls is a precious weight, and we thank God for it.

One practical step we have seen help sustain momentum is to intentionally cultivate that secondary leader you mentioned. Even this week, you might invite someone you trust to begin shadowing the outreach efforts, sharing the vision, praying together, then handing them real responsibility step by step. That way, when sickness, weather, or any unexpected interruption comes, the mission already has another set of hands to keep pressing forward. It also doubles your prayer cover and spreads the joy.

We also notice that persistence in prayer meetings often grows best from shared hunger, not just scheduling. Gathering a few core people to pray specifically toward the evangelism nights, maybe briefly before or after the main meetings, can fan that flame into a third day as God leads. The Lord honors such faithful clusters, not because we arrange everything perfectly, but because He moves among a people who simply refuse to stop asking.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this team to You. Fill them freshly with the Spirit of grace and supplication. Give them practical wisdom to raise up co-laborers, and a steadfastness that weathers every distraction. Protect them from the evil one, and let the gospel run swiftly through their streets, bearing lasting fruit. Use them to compel many to Your feast, with the love of Christ as their only strength. We trust You to grant both the increase and the unity. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very essence of this request gladdens my heart, for it breathes the spirit of true prayer and holy aggression for the Kingdom. You have laid hold upon the promise and the command, and rightly so. Yet I would not have you think that because the desire is large the answer will be small. No, pray on and press harder still.

I perceive in your plea a dread of those many hindrances that so easily beset us, those plausible excuses that rob the Master’s banquet of guests. This shows wisdom, for Satan will hinder gospel work by any device if we are not watchful. When the love of Christ truly compels, a little heat or a drop of rain become trifling things. The man who must inspect his oxen or his field has never yet felt the cords of Calvary drawing him. Let the love of Christ so fill you that these hindrances fall away like dead leaves. If the first leader is stayed, let another stand forth, for the work is the Lord’s and He raises up instruments even from the stones if He wills. But do not marvel that hindrances come; rather, expect them and turn them into occasions for wrestle. Did not Jacob pray all night and prevail? His model prayer was full of argument, gripping the Lord’s own word and holding Him to it. Go thou and do likewise. Plead Zechariah 12:10, the Spirit of grace and supplication, with a holy importunity. The promise is your warrant; hold it before the throne.

And as for the Prayer Meetings, I trust you will not be content with two if the Spirit presses you toward three. The upper room became the furnace where the church was forged. When the saints continued in one accord, the place was shaken. I have seen more done in a single night of united supplication than in a year of preaching. Therefore, let not unholiness or coldness creep in; let each one come with a heart already kindled by secret devotion, else the meeting becomes a form. But oh, the power when quickened souls blend their cries! It is then that missionary fire is born, and sinners are plucked as brands from the burning. Your fear that the evil one might disrupt from within or without is not baseless; he will try to scatter your thoughts, suggest blasphemies, or bring a deadness upon the hour. But these are his hindrances, and they are to be overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, and he will flee.

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest incense that rises to heaven. When you labour for souls, when you travail until Christ be formed in them, you are entering into the very work of the Great High Priest. This is no vain exercise; it has stayed plagues and turned nations. Let your prayer, then, be not only for the removal of hindrances but for the actual bestowal of the Spirit with power, that the Word might prevail mightily as at Ephesus. And if answers seem delayed, remember that the Lord sometimes tries faith to strengthen it. The vision is for an appointed time; wait for it. Think not that prayer fails because the answer tarries. The bow may be bent long, but the arrow will fly at the set moment.

Be much in secret pleading, and then carry that fire into the public assembly. Pray that the Lord would quicken you in every grace, for deadness is our greatest foe. Above all, let humility mark your approach, not crying “Depart from me” in unbelief, but “Come nearer, Lord, for I am a sinful man and need Thee.” Such a prayer He will never refuse. Go forward, then, with the love of Christ as your mighty constraining force. Compel them to come in, by earnest word and by a life that makes the message beautiful. And if you would see sound conversions like Zacchaeus, pray that the Word may run and be glorified, even to the working of wonders if it pleases the Lord. The wise shall indeed win souls, and they that turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever. This is your crown; let no man take it from you.

Your soul yearns for the spread of the Gospel and the increase of prayer, and rightly so. For there is no greater labor, no sweeter yoke, than to obey that last command of the Master, to go into all the world and compel them to come in. But let us examine the ground of this zeal, lest the cunning serpent, who knows our every weakness, twist even holy fervor into a snare.

You pray that no earthly excuse, rain or heat, field or wife, should hinder the gathering of the saints for prayer and the search for the lost sheep. I hear in this a soul truly burdened, one that has tasted the love of Christ and finds all other loves dead, as I have said, like the overthrown horses and riders of lust. Yet consider: the very excuses you list from the holy Gospel are not merely obstacles to be removed by a secondary leader, as you wisely provide; they are symptoms of a heart not yet fully captivated. When a man loves the Bridegroom, he feels no heat; when his treasure is in heaven, he needs not to inspect his land. The love of Christ, when it truly compels, makes every burden light. So pray not only against the interruptions, but for such an inflaming of love within the assembled body that no one would even wish to be absent. Let your prayer be that of the Apostle: “Make you to increase and abound in love,” that the gathering itself might become a furnace of charity, a place where the Spirit’s rushing wind is felt, and where each departure becomes a wound.

You ask for the Spirit of grace and supplication to be poured out. This is excellent. But remember what I have often taught: the posture of prayer is not first in the multitude of words, but in the pure conscience. I know a holy man whose prayer began with thanksgiving for all things, for tribulation, for refreshment, for what we know and what we know not, even for those benefits given against our will. Before you storm heaven for more laborers, labor yourself to have a soul holy and clean, for nothing defiles a man like pride, not even fornication. Pride can corrupt the very fruit of evangelism, turning it from the gathering of lost sons into the boasting of hired servants. See that your weekly increase in meetings does not become fuel for that fire. Groan for the salvation of souls with the deep sigh of Zacchaeus restored, with the godly sorrow that works repentance, never with the swelling breath of the Pharisee.

In all your planning, “continuing instant in prayer” and holding fast to the assembling together, for where two or three truly gather in His name, there He is in the midst, do not be anxious about the outward effectiveness, the “attesting miracles” or the visible numbers. The devil fell by the disease of vainglory. Rather, desire that in each outreach the Word of the Lord may simply prevail, as it did in Ephesus, by first prevailing in the hearts of those who carry it. When the love of Christ constrains you, you will compel others, not by human craft, but because the fragrance of that selfless love cannot be hidden. Then indeed will the evil one be kept far off, not merely through a prayer of protection, but because he finds no room where love has made hearts wide. Make room for Christ, and you will find you cannot be straitened.

I see in your request a deep, God-given hunger for souls, and that itself is evidence of His Spirit at work. The prayer for the Spirit of grace and supplication to be poured out is exactly what our Lord promised, a Spirit who does not leave us content with formal religion but groans within us for the lost.

You long for prayer meetings to multiply, and for the outreach to hold steady against every kind of excuse and distraction. The love that can sustain that kind of persistence is not something we manufacture. You cannot psych yourself into agape. It is a fruit of the Spirit, shed abroad in our hearts by God, a divine, self-sacrificing love that transcends the physical or emotional levels the world knows. When you pray, "Let the love of Christ compel us," you are asking for the very life of the Spirit to dominate your being, for that is the love He produces. It is the only force that answers those excuses in Luke 14. A man's love for his land, his work, or his comfort will always look like a valid reason to stay home, unless a greater love has taken hold of him. The Spirit's work is to make Christ so real and His last command so weighty that a rainy day or a conflicting appointment loses its power to deter us.

This is also why you can ask boldly for effectiveness and for the Word to prevail. The love of God was manifested in the death of Jesus Christ for sinful man. That is the message we carry. As you walk in the Spirit, the fruit is love, and love is the fulfilling of the law. It is not a burden that chafes. The heavy burden is man's attempt to please himself. Christ's yoke is easy, and His burden is light because it is one of love, love for Him and love for the souls He died for. When you groan for souls, asking God to labor until Christ is formed in people, know that the Spirit Himself groans with a purpose. He is the one who convicts the world of sin and points to Jesus as the only answer. You can trust Him to work through a steadfast team, granting those sound conversions and keeping the evil one away, because He is the Spirit of truth who bears witness to Jesus.

Continue to pray for a secondary leader to be established and for the team to be protected. That is wisdom. But the deepest protection against Satan's disruptions is found in walking by the Spirit. If a team is led by the Spirit, they will not bite and devour one another; they will serve one another in love. The characteristics of that agape, patience, long-suffering, not seeking its own, become the very armor that keeps the outreach unified and effective. The command to go is not grievous; it flows from the new nature of one who has come to know the glorious love of God for failing man. That love, when it fills a heart, becomes a compelling fire that must seek the lost. May the Lord answer your prayer in full measure, increasing your gatherings, steadying your hands, and letting you see the joy of leading many to righteousness.
