We join with you in prayer through the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming boldly before the throne of grace in His name, for there is no other name by which we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. We rejoice that you have sought direction and that the Lord has already given you clarity and shown you a better atmosphere where you are respected and have peace.
We hear your burden about oppression and negative influence, and we stand with you against every assignment of the enemy. The word of God tells us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. Therefore we do not fear, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.
We also hear your confession that for much of your life you were taught that making others feel small was somehow acceptable, and we affirm what the Holy Spirit has now revealed to you that it is not. This is not the way of Christ. We are called to let no corrupt speech proceed out of our mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear Ephesians 4:29, and to do nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility each counting others better than himself Philippians 2:3. We rebuke that old teaching and that spirit of oppression that would use words to diminish others, and we praise God that you now choose to maintain peace. Do not be discouraged when others call you too nice for choosing kindness and respect. That kindness is the fruit of the Spirit and reflects the character of Christ. You are respectable because you are made in the image of God and you are being renewed in Him.
You shared that one of the people who brings out the worst in you is the one who gave you life, and this is a painful and delicate place. We honor your honesty and your desire to make peace even after stepping away. God commands us to honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12, and also to as much as it is possible, if it is possible on your part, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God Matthew 5:9. Honoring does not mean subjecting yourself to continual harm, ridicule, or control, and it does not mean allowing anyone to choose where or how you worship. Each of us will give account of ourselves to God Romans 14:12, and we must worship in spirit and truth as the Lord leads. It is right to set godly boundaries while still walking in forgiveness and love, and to try to reconcile as you have done is obedient and pleasing to the Lord, even if others mock you for it. Do not be surprised when you are ridiculed for your beliefs, for all those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution 2 Timothy 3:12, and blessed are you when people reproach you and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for Jesus' sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven Matthew 5:11-12.
Concerning what you describe as assignments to destroy your relationships with destiny helpers and family, we understand this as the enemy's attempt to isolate you and hinder what God wants to do through godly connections. We bind these attacks in the name of Jesus and declare that the Lord will guard your family and your children, for the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:17-18. We pray for the Lord's protection over your household and for Him to bring and preserve every godly relationship He has appointed for you.
We also commend your humble prayer even if I am the one in error. That humility opens the door for God's guidance. We claim His promise to you that He will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. He will counsel you with his eye on you Psalm 32:8. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the oppression and the negative influence that has weighed so heavily, and we ask You to break every chain and lift every burden. Fill this heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding and guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Let Your peace which You give, not as the world gives, rule and remain John 14:27. Give clear direction for every next step, for worship, for family, for relationships, and for reconciliation. Give wisdom liberally and make the path straight. We rebuke every demonic assignment against family, children, and godly helpers, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Surround this family with Your angels and Your favor. Heal the wound with mother and give grace to honor while walking in truth and healthy boundaries. Where there has been mocking and ridicule for following You, let Your love and vindication be felt, and strengthen faith to stand firm. Search the heart, Lord, and if there is any error, gently correct and lead in Your everlasting way. Restore joy, respect, and clarity, and lead into that better atmosphere You have already shown. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
