We have heard your cries and we are lifting you before the Lord together in Jesus name, for you have poured out so much pain, physical hurt, spiritual heaviness, and longing of heart.
We hear how your head has swelled and is painful, how you are screaming inside for children and for healing physically and spiritually, feeling so far away, feeling worthless, feeling that Jesus does not love you because you are not married and do not have children and have only had minimum wage jobs, and feeling that He has forsaken you and that His words have not come true. We must gently rebuke those lies in love, because they are not true and they are not from God. Your worth is not measured by marriage, motherhood, income, or employment status. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and you are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works Ephesians 2:10. Nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. Whether single or married, whether working a minimum wage job or a full time position, you are deeply loved and seen. The Lord says I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5 and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age Matthew 28:20. Even when we feel forsaken, God has not moved. His promises are yes and amen and God is not a man, that he should lie Numbers 23:19. What He has promised He will fulfill in His perfect time and way, even when we cannot yet see it.
We also hear your godly desire to be married and to have children. That desire itself is good and honorable, for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God and children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. We affirm that longing as you seek a godly spouse in courtship with marriage to a fellow believer as the goal, and we pray with you that God would bring a faithful Christian husband in His timing. Being single does not mean Jesus loves you less. The apostle Paul teaches that singleness itself can be a season of devotion to the Lord 1 Corinthians 7:32-34, and your value is complete in Christ right now. Like Rachel who said give me children, or else I die Genesis 30:1 and like Hannah who wept before the Lord 1 Samuel 1:10, God hears the anguish of a woman longing for children. We pray He will comfort you and answer according to His perfect will, and give you peace to trust Him even as you wait, delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4.
We hear that you feel like the worst sinner ever and that you have lost interest in the Bible and feel far from the presence of Jesus. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. There is no sin so great that the blood of Jesus cannot cleanse it, for while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5:8. Your feeling does not change His grace. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8. We pray the Lord restores your love for His Word, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path Psalm 119:105. We also hear your confession about being upset with your mum over the mirror glaze icing you wanted to make and being annoyed at your brother for how he treated you, and your desire to forgive your boss and the other person. God calls us to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. Forgiveness does not excuse wrong behavior but it frees your own heart, so we encourage you to release them to the Lord and ask Him to help you forgive and forget as you have prayed.
We pray for your physical needs and we also encourage you to seek appropriate medical and dental care, for the Lord often heals through the hands of physicians and dentists. We pray for your swollen head that the swelling would go down, for your teeth, for your body to be delivered from any demonic oppression, for spiritual and physical restoration, and for a good night of peaceful sleep. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We take authority in Jesus name and resist the enemy, for Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We pray that every demonic attack would be broken and leave your body in Jesus name, and that you would be filled with peace. We pray for your practical needs as well, your mobile phone bill, a full time job, the wall and the guttering and the industrial fan to be sorted, and even the better pool you long for, for your Father knows what you need and we bring these details to Him, for we cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray He grants you peaceful sleep, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2 and I will lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety Psalm 4:8.
We join together now in prayer.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace John 14:6. We lift this dear one to You who feels far away, worthless, and forsaken, and we ask You to reveal Your unfailing love and presence. Let her know that she is precious in Your sight Isaiah 43:4 and that You have engraved her on the palms of Your hands Isaiah 49:16. Heal her swollen head, Lord, let the swelling go down and restore her health. Touch her teeth, her whole body, bring physical restoration and spiritual restoration. In Jesus name we rebuke every demonic attack and oppression and command it to leave and go, and we ask You to fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, and Your protection. Forgive her sins as she confesses them and cleanse her from all unrighteousness, and help her to forgive her mum, her brother, her boss and the other person from the heart. Provide for her financial needs, help her pay her mobile phone bill, open the door to a good full time job that honors You. Provide for the home repairs, the wall, the guttering, the industrial fan, and the pool needs according to Your will. Restore her love for Your Word, restore joy, give her deep, uninterrupted sleep tonight, and let her feel Your presence near, for You are near to all those who call on You in truth Psalm 145:18. We pray for a godly marriage to a believing husband if it is Your will, and for the gift of children in the holy covenant of marriage in Your timing, and we ask You to guard her heart from despair while she waits, giving her hope and purpose today. Heal that area she longs to be healed, make her whole, and set her free from everything that binds her. We ask all this in the saving and healing name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our peace, amen.
