We join you in this prayer for the renewing of your mind and your life each day and we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard.

The desire you have expressed is very biblical, for God calls us to daily renewal and not to live by our old thoughts and ways. Romans 12:2 says Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. And Ephesians 4:23 says and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind. We also remember the promise in 2 Corinthians 4:16 that though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. This renewal is not something we claim by our own power but something God graciously works in us as we seek Him, abide in His Word, and walk in obedience.

You prayed for intelligence and to know what to do, and we pray with you for wisdom from above. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. True understanding comes from the Lord and He delights to give it when we ask in faith. You also prayed for victory over your enemies and for peace, love, truth, light, mercy and forgiveness to be renewed in you. We are reminded in Romans 8:37 that No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Our victory is not by our own claiming but through Christ who loved us and overcame for us. And the peace you seek is the peace of God which surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 teaches.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You create in them a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within them according to Psalm 51:10. Renew their mind daily by Your Holy Spirit and by Your Word, that they may discern Your good and perfect will and know what to do in each step. Grant them wisdom liberally as they ask, and fill them with Your peace, Your love, Your truth, Your light, Your mercy and Your forgiveness. Help them to walk in the light as You are in the light and to bear fruit that honors You. Give them victory over the schemes of the enemy, not by their own strength but by the power of the blood of Jesus and by walking in truth and righteousness. Let what is good and better and best from Your hand be formed in them as they are conformed to the image of Your Son. Keep them daily in Your grace and teach them to trust You more. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek daily renewal through reading Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with Christ. As your mind is washed by the Word and your heart is surrendered to Him, He will guide your steps, quiet your thoughts with His peace, and equip you for every good work He has prepared for you.

We are glad you shared this prayer with us. Hearing you ask for a renewed mind, for intelligence and wisdom to know what to do, and for peace, love, truth and mercy to be renewed in you daily tells us you want to walk closely with the Lord in everyday life. We hear that longing and we join you in bringing it to Him.

One thing we have found helpful to remember is that renewal is not usually a single moment but a daily turning. God shapes how we think as we keep bringing our thoughts to Him and asking Him to help us see what is true and good. Some days that feels clear, other days it feels slow, and both are part of growing.

It might help to narrow your prayer to one focus for this week. Each morning you could ask the Lord for wisdom for the one or two decisions right in front of you that day, and notice what thoughts are pulling you away from peace. Bringing just that one area to Him keeps it concrete and gives you a way to see how He is leading.

Father, we lift our friend to You. Renew his mind and guide his steps today. Fill him with Your peace, truth, mercy and love, and give him clear wisdom for what is before him. Help him to know Your presence and to walk in Your way. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer for a renewed mind and for daily renewal is a prayer which God delights to answer, for He is the God who renews the youth of His people like the eagle's.

You have asked for intelligence and to know what to do, and for victory and peace and truth and mercy to be renewed in you. Hear how the Lord accomplishes this. The eagle's strength is renewed by the food it eats, and by mounting up to breathe the atmosphere of the skies. So is our youth renewed. There is a holy nature, a spiritual immortality of grace bestowed upon us, and we are renewed as we feed upon Christ and upon His Word, and as we dwell near to God. Apart from Him the carnal mind is enmity against God, and can bring forth no faith, no love, no true repentance. But when the Holy Spirit, who is the great actor in the world of mind, illuminates and controls the spirit of man, He gives what men call shrewd common sense but what is indeed an illumination of mind which comes from dwelling near God and being made like Him. God would have us educated for the skies, with thought and capacity bowed to His sway, that we may know and practically know the Lord's will and mind respecting us.

You have claimed victory over your enemies, and rightly so, if you claim it in Christ. Jesus wins the victory, but He will not enjoy it alone, He will glorify His people. Because He has poured out His soul unto death, He shall divide the spoil. Myriads of souls are redeemed by that victory, and when He shall ask, Father, give them power and victory, it must be done. Your victory therefore is not of your own strength, but of His finished work.

We need repentance and faith not only at the first but daily, and a renewed revelation of the covenant, and renewed prayers that the old promises may not be dishonored. May the Lord grant you this daily renewing.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee that Thou renewest the youth of Thy people. We ask Thee to renew this soul by Thy Holy Spirit. Take away the carnal mind which is enmity against Thee, and give a spiritual mind that loves Thy truth and Thy will. Grant renewed intelligence, not after the flesh, but that illumination which comes from dwelling near Thee. Feed this hungry one with the bread of heaven, and lift this heart to breathe the pure air of communion with Christ, that daily strength may return.

We pray for renewed peace, love, truth, light, mercy and forgiveness, and for all that is good and better and best according to Thy will. Let Thy right hand sustain and Thy grace instruct, that this one may know what to do and may walk in intelligent obedience, keeping close to the Divine mind revealed in Thy Word.

We claim no victory of our own, but the victory of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is salvation. Let His victory be manifest in this life, over sin, over darkness, over every enemy of the soul. Renew the covenant in power, and keep this one abiding in Christ, that fruit may come from a renewed nature to Thy glory.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.
