We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved.
We hear how unwell you feel in body and spirit, how sexually and spiritually dead you feel, how worthless you feel, and the painful lie that Jesus does not love you and that your worth is measured by whether you are married or have children. We gently but firmly rebuke those lies in Jesus' name, for they are not from God. The enemy wants you to believe you are unloved and without value, but the Word of God declares the truth. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. Jesus does love you deeply, He proved it by giving His life for you, and He loves you right now in this place of pain and weakness.
We want to speak truth over your feelings of worthlessness. Your value is not determined by marital status or by having children, though we understand the deep longing you carry for both. Your worth is given by God Himself. For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well Psalm 139:13-14. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them Ephesians 2:10. You are not forgotten or overlooked. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.
When you feel spiritually dead, we remember that God is the one who makes us alive. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved Ephesians 2:4-5. He can breathe life again into the dry and weary places. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We also understand your longing to be married and to have children, and we affirm that marriage is a holy and lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed it, and that children are a blessing from the Lord. If it is your desire to be married, we pray that God will lead you into a godly courtship with another Christian believer with the goal of marriage that honors Him, and that you would be equally yoked and not pursue relationships outside of His will 2 Corinthians 6:14. We also want to affirm that sexuality is a gift from God to be expressed within marriage, and we pray God will heal and restore your sense of wholeness in that area according to His perfect design and timing, bringing peace rather than shame.
We are praying for your leg and for your physical healing as well. We believe God is able to help you spiritually and physically. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We encourage you also to seek appropriate medical care as God often works through those means as well.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, touch this body that feels so unwell, lay Your healing hand upon this leg and bring complete restoration and relief from pain. Touch this heart that feels worthless, sexually dead and spiritually dead, and breathe new life. Reveal in a powerful way that Jesus loves this dear one with an everlasting love, and help them to love themselves as Your beloved creation. Break the lies that worth comes from marriage or children, and replace them with the truth of identity in Christ. If it is Your will, Lord, provide a godly spouse for a marriage that glorifies You and, if You will it, the blessing of children in Your timing. Strengthen faith, renew hope, restore joy, and help physically and spiritually day by day. We ask that You draw near, comfort, heal, and lead into fullness of life in Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
