Beloved of All
pray as I have been so down and depressed and pray as I feel so far from god and the worst sinner pray that I can apply for jobs and get some t-shirts for my niece's and nephews pray as I feel so worthless because I don't own my own house or have children and pray that I will know jesus loves me

We hear the deep ache in your heart, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting every burden to the Lord. The weight of depression, the distance you feel from God, and the lies of worthlessness that have taken root in your mind are not from Him. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not the "worst sinner," for all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23), but the blood of Christ covers you when you repent and turn to Him. His love for you is not based on your achievements, possessions, or marital status, but on His unchanging nature. "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

The feelings of worthlessness you describe are not truth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your value is found in Christ alone. Owning a house or having children does not define your worth, God does. He has a purpose for you, even in this season. We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers lies to you, and we declare that God’s plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy wants you isolated and believing you are forgotten, but God says, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands" (Isaiah 49:15-16).

We pray for practical provision as well. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment, that You would guide their steps to the right job, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We also pray for the children in their life, nieces and nephews, that You would bless them with the shirts they need, and that these small acts of love would be a testimony of Your care. Lord, help them to see Your hand moving in the details, even when the bigger picture feels unclear.

Most of all, we pray that you would encounter the love of Jesus in a fresh way. The fact that you are reaching out shows that His Spirit is drawing you. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses a day. Let His truth wash over the lies. We pray that you would know, deep in your spirit, that nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). You are His beloved child, and He delights in you.

Heavenly Father, we come against the spirit of heaviness and clothe them with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3). Lift the fog of depression, Lord, and let Your light break through. Remind them that their identity is in You, not in worldly measures of success. Heal their heart, restore their joy, and fill them with hope. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in tangible ways this week, through Your Word, through the kindness of others, through answered prayers. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust You with their future. We pray for breakthrough in every area, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

We are so glad you told us honestly how you have been feeling. It takes courage to say you feel so down, so far from God, and even worthless. We hear how heavy that has been, and we want you to know we are praying for you and you are not forgotten.

Feeling like the worst sinner and feeling far from God can make it hard to believe Jesus loves you, but His love is not measured by how close you feel or by what you own or have accomplished. Not having a house or children does not determine your worth. You are already deeply valued as His creation, and we pray that truth settles more and more in your heart even on low days.

We also hear your care for your nieces and nephews and your desire to provide those t-shirts and to find work. That is a loving and good desire.

One small step that may help alongside prayer is to reach out to one trusted person this week, a pastor, counselor, or your doctor, and share how down you have been feeling. You don't have to carry this alone, and talking with someone can be a steady support while we continue to pray. If you feel able, you might also choose one or two jobs to apply for this week as a manageable start.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see their sadness, their loneliness, and their longing to feel Your love. Draw near and remind them they are seen and loved by You through Jesus. Give wisdom and open doors as they look for work, and provide for what they hope to give their family. Bring comfort, hope, and people around them to walk with them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with care and tenderness. To feel so down and depressed, to feel far from God and to count yourself the worst sinner, is a heavy burden, and we do not take it lightly.

Hear this truth first, for it is the window through which the love of God is best seen. Hereby perceive we the love of God, that Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. It is universally admitted that there can be no greater proof of love than for a person to lay down his life for the object of that love, and this is what the Lord Jesus has done. You ask to know that Jesus loves you, and the Cross answers you. There you see sparing love that has kept you to this day, restraining love that has kept you from destroying yourself, and inviting love that has placed you where you have heard the Gospel faithfully preached. Oh the sweet savor of that word, love, to be loved of the great heart which sustains the universe. O child of God, you are as much loved of God as if He had not another child to love.

Do not measure that love by your feelings. Many acts of God are full of love in which we fail to see it at the time, and depression can make the soul question what God has plainly proved. That you feel far from Him does not mean He is far from you. He says, I will be found of you, and when He draws near He makes the soul call Him not as a hard master but as beloved. To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge is the privilege of the child of God, and it is learned not by our worthiness but by looking to Him who died for sinners. The apostle said Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. If you are the worst sinner, you are just the one He came to save, and His blood is sufficient for you.

You also feel worthless because you do not own your own house or have children. Beloved soul, your worth before God was never set by such things. Houses and lands, marriage and children, are gifts in His providence, but they are not the measure of a life. To love His Word and to be loved by Him brings a peace that the world cannot give and cannot take away. They that love His law have great peace, and that peace can sustain you whether you are poor or full, whether your house is your own or another's, whether your arms hold children of your own or you love the children of others. The Lord sees your desire to bless your nieces and nephews with t-shirts, a simple and loving kindness, and He who clothes the lilies will provide for you.

We have prayed for you, and we continue to pray:

Our Father, look upon this weary and downcast soul who feels far off and unworthy. Show in the heart by Thy Holy Spirit how high and deep and boundless is the love of Christ shed abroad at Calvary. Forgive sin, remove guilt, and give assurance that whosoever believeth in Jesus is saved. Lift the cloud of depression and draw near in mercy. Provide work according to Thy wisdom, open doors for honest employment, and supply what is needed to be a blessing to family. Let this dear one know indeed that Jesus loves them, not because they are worthy, but because He is gracious, and make that love a ceaseless stream of consolation. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour we ask it, Amen.

Keep looking to Christ and not to your own heart. Drink abundantly of His love. Do not be afraid of being too sure of His salvation when your confidence rests on Him. Read His Word, keep close to the assembling of His people, and tell Him all your grief just as you have told us. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, and His love to you is wonderful.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we are lifting you up before the Lord with thankfulness for your honesty. We hear how heavy your heart feels in this season of depression, how distant God seems, and how strongly you feel your own sin and worthlessness. Please know you are not alone in these feelings, and God does not turn away from a heart that comes to Him honestly.

Scripture tells us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, and that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. To feel like the worst sinner is not a sign that you are beyond His reach. The apostle Paul himself said that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the worst. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His grace, not by our goodness. If you have put your trust in Him, your standing before God rests on what Jesus has done, not on how close or far you feel. Feelings shift, but His promise remains that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Even when you feel far, He has not moved away from you.

You also shared that you feel worthless because you do not own a house or have children. Your worth in Gods eyes is not measured by possessions or by whether you have children. You are made in His image and, if you are in Christ, you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, loved and valued because He made you and redeemed you. A house and children are good gifts for some, but they are not the measure of a persons value. The Lord sees your life, your love for your nieces and nephews, and your desire to provide for them, and that love reflects His own care.

We are praying for you in these specific ways.

Father, we bring this dear one before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. You see the heaviness and depression, and we ask You to draw near and give comfort, peace, and strength day by day. Lift the cloud of feeling far from You and help this heart to know with assurance that Jesus loves and holds them. Forgive sin through the blood of Christ and give a renewed sense of Your mercy. Provide encouragement through Your Word, through Your people, and through wise help and counsel in the local church. We ask that You open doors for work as they apply for jobs, and provide for every need, including the ability to bless their nieces and nephews with gifts given in love. Remind them daily that their worth is in being Yours, not in what they own or have accomplished. Fill them with hope in Christ.

Continue to seek the Lord in His Word and in prayer, even with simple honest prayers like the one you have prayed. Stay connected to a faithful local church where you can be known, encouraged, and prayed for in person. If the depression feels heavy for a long time, please reach out to a trusted pastor or counselor and to people who can walk with you closely.

We thank God that you desire to know Jesus loves you. He has shown that love most clearly at the cross and the empty tomb. Rest in that finished work, and ask Him each day to help you believe and experience it more deeply. We will continue to pray that you know His love, know His nearness, and see His provision in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about how heavy your heart feels right now. Hearing that you have been down and depressed, feeling far from God, feeling like the worst sinner, and feeling worthless because of not owning a house or having children, I want to pray for you and to remind you of what Scripture says is true even when feelings say otherwise.

When your heart condemns you and tells you that you are too far away or too sinful, God is greater than your heart. The Bible says God is love, and that is His very nature. His love for you is not the kind of love the world talks about, which is often selfish and based on what someone can give. His love is a giving, self sacrificing love that He poured out while we were still imperfect and failing. The proof of that love is not found in how you feel on a given day, but in what He has already done. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him would become a child of God and an heir with Christ. Whenever you doubt whether Jesus loves you, look to the cross. There is the settled proof that He loves you.

God also devised the means by which those who were banished by sin would not be expelled from Him forever. Because of sin we were separated, but He made a way through Jesus to bring us back to Himself for eternity. He does not see you through harsh judgment, but through love. Love covers a multitude of sins, and when He looks at you as one who trusts in Christ, He sees you as complete in Him, not in your imperfect state. You do not have to love God perfectly to be loved by Him. Scripture says herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us. We love Him because He first loved us.

Your value is not measured by whether you own a house, have children, get a certain job, or can provide gifts, as good as those desires are. Apart from God, all achievement and possessions are empty, but your life as a believer is hidden with Christ in God. Do not set your affections on the things of this world as the measure of your worth. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God. That is your true identity and worth, to be called His child and to have His favor upon your life. The evidence that His Spirit is at work in you is not a feeling or an outward display, but His witness to Jesus in your heart and the fruit of His love growing in you, especially love for Him and for His people.

None of us are immune from the attacks of the enemy or from seasons of heaviness, no matter how long we have walked with the Lord. It is normal to face those battles while we are still in this body, but you are not alone in them.

I am praying for you now, that God will lift the depression and the sense of distance, and give you a fresh assurance of His presence and His love for you in Christ. I pray He will quiet the condemnation in your heart with the truth that you are forgiven and fully loved as His child. I pray He will open doors for work as you apply for jobs, and provide for your needs, including the desire to bless your nieces and nephews with t shirts, and that He will show you daily that your life has deep purpose and value in Him apart from any house or status. May you know in a deeper way that Jesus loves you, not because of what you have or have not done, but because God is love and He has already given His Son for you.
