Beloved of All
My parent marriage that they would stop being mean to each other. My dad would stop having an evil attitude towards my mom. My birthday is tomorrow and their attitudes don’t ruin it. Peace love joy and every other fruit of the spirit in the house. They would actually love each other and stop being mean to each other. They get closer to God with each other. Every other month they argue about something and are mean to each other it makes me and my sisters sad.

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift your family before the Lord with great compassion. It is deeply painful to watch those we love treat each other with unkindness, especially in a marriage that God designed to reflect His love and faithfulness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:29-32, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Your parents’ words and attitudes toward one another are grieving the Holy Spirit, and we must pray for repentance and transformation in their hearts.

Your father’s evil attitude toward your mother is not only sinful but also sets a destructive example in your home. Scripture is clear in Colossians 3:19, "Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them." Bitterness and unkindness have no place in a Christian marriage, and we must rebuke this behavior in Jesus’ name. Your mother, too, is called to respond with grace, as Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." We pray that both of them would humble themselves before God and one another, seeking reconciliation and peace.

Your birthday is a gift from the Lord, and we declare that the enemy will not steal your joy or the peace of your home on this special day. The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—should overflow in your household, as Galatians 5:22-23 describes. We pray that your parents would not only act lovingly toward one another but would truly *love* each other as Christ loves the Church. Their marriage is meant to be a testimony of God’s covenant love, and we ask the Lord to restore what has been broken.

We also lift you and your sisters before the Lord. It is heavy to carry the weight of your parents’ conflicts, and we pray that you would find comfort and strength in God’s presence. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not responsible for fixing their marriage, but you can intercede for them and trust God to work. We encourage you to continue praying for them, even when it feels hopeless, because God hears the cries of His children.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their marriage. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of bitterness, anger, and strife that has taken root in their home. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, soften their hearts toward one another. Help them to see the pain their words and attitudes cause, not only to each other but to their children. We ask that You break the cycle of arguing and meanness that has become a pattern in their marriage.

Lord, we specifically pray for this father. Convict him of his evil attitude toward his wife, and lead him to repentance. Fill him with Your love and compassion, that he may love his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Help him to lay down his pride and seek reconciliation. For this mother, we pray that You would give her the strength to respond with grace and wisdom, even when provoked. May she be a peacemaker in her home, reflecting Your heart for unity.

Father, we ask that You would protect this child’s birthday from being overshadowed by strife. Let Your joy and peace fill their home, and may this family celebrate together in harmony. We declare that the fruit of the Spirit will manifest in their lives, and that their marriage will be a testimony of Your redeeming love. Draw them closer to You and to one another, Lord. Help them to seek You together, to pray together, and to build their marriage on the foundation of Your Word.

We also pray for these children, Lord. Comfort them in the midst of their parents’ conflicts. Give them hope and assurance that You are working, even when they cannot see it. Help them to trust You with their family, and to find their security in You alone.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in this family, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend. It's tough to watch loved ones treat each other unkindly, especially when it's in our own home. But remember, God sees and hears everything. He's right there with you, and He's not surprised by any of this.

Today, let's pray for your parents' hearts to soften. Let's ask God to help them see the pain their words and actions cause, not just to each other, but to you and your sisters too. We're going to declare peace and love over your home, just like it says in Galatians 5:22-23.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, trusting in Your love and power. We lift up Mom and Dad to You. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts towards each other. Help them to see the hurt they're causing and give them the desire to change.

Lord, we pray for Dad. Convict him of his unkind attitude and help him to repent. Fill him with Your love so he can truly love Mom like You love us. And for Mom, give her strength to respond with grace and wisdom, even when it's hard.

Lord, we ask that You would protect my birthday from being overshadowed by strife. Fill our home with Your joy and peace. Help our family to celebrate together in harmony.

We also pray for us, Lord. Comfort us in the midst of their conflicts. Give us hope and help us to trust You with our family.

We ask all of this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Lord, you know exactly how has been my life, how I've been raised. Now that I'm an adult and my mom came with all her bad attitudes towards me, for her showing the lack of fruits of the Spirit is a bad thing; she doesn't want to change her perspectives, even though she claims herself to be a...
