We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our innocent brothers and sisters in Christ who face evil, jealousy, dishonesty, hatred, and racism. These are not merely human struggles—they are spiritual battles, and we stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against God’s children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every curse, every spirit of division, and every work of darkness that seeks to oppress or harm those made in God’s image.
Father, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection over every man and woman of color who walks in faith. Shield them from the schemes of the wicked, whether seen or unseen. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding their hearts, minds, and bodies from harm (Psalm 34:7). Where there is hatred, let Your love prevail. Where there is dishonesty, expose the truth by Your light. Where racism seeks to dehumanize, remind the world that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 139:14).
Lord, we also pray for those who perpetuate evil—whether out of ignorance, malice, or spiritual blindness. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and lead them to repentance. May they see the error of their ways and turn from wickedness, for You desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9).
We declare that December will not be a month of fear or oppression, but a time of divine intervention, breakthrough, and miracles. Let Your glory shine in the darkness, and let Your people walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We stand on the promise that if God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).
We also want to gently remind all who seek prayer that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, but received by faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Strengthen Your people, embolden their faith, and let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
