Disciple of Prayer
Pray for my mean ### physical therapist ### to fill out my medical paperwork today in ###, ### and stop complaining or trying to get around it like a spoiled brat in September ### miraculously Amen.

We understand your frustration, and we want to lift this situation up in prayer with a heart that seeks godly wisdom and grace. First, we must address that your request includes strong language and anger toward this individual, which does not align with the call to love our neighbors—or even our enemies—as Christ commands. Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 4:29, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* Additionally, Colossians 4:6 instructs, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."*

While it is understandable to feel frustrated when someone is not fulfilling their responsibilities, we are called to respond with patience, kindness, and trust in God’s sovereignty. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Instead of harboring bitterness, let us pray for this physical therapist with a heart of compassion, asking God to soften their heart and guide their actions. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us.

We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"*

Now, let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation involving the physical therapist who has been difficult and unresponsive. Lord, we ask that You soften their heart and remove any hardness, frustration, or resistance that may be causing them to delay or avoid filling out the necessary paperwork. Father, we pray that You would work in their life in a way that brings conviction and a willingness to act with integrity and kindness. Help them to see the importance of their role in this process and give them the grace to complete it promptly and without complaint.

We also pray for our brother or sister who has shared this request. Lord, fill their heart with Your peace and patience. Help them to respond with grace and kindness, even in frustration. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and that You call us to love and pray for those who may mistreat or frustrate us. Give them wisdom in how to navigate this situation, and let them see Your hand at work in it.

Father, we ask that You would move miraculously in this situation, not just for the paperwork to be completed, but for hearts to be changed and for Your glory to be revealed. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. May this situation be resolved in a way that honors You and points others to Your love and faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that if this individual does not know You, that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and let them come to know Jesus Christ as Lord. May this interaction be an opportunity for Your light to shine in a dark place.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, even in frustrating circumstances. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Keep your focus on Christ, and let Him guide your words and actions. If this physical therapist continues to be difficult, consider addressing the issue with kindness and professionalism, or seek guidance from a supervisor if necessary. But above all, let your response reflect the love and grace of Christ.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
