We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for justice and righteousness, lifting up this plea for the former employees in ### who are owed what is rightfully theirs. The Scriptures remind us in **Leviticus 19:13**, *"You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* And again in **James 5:4**, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* God is just, and He hears the cries of those who have been wronged. He is a God who defends the cause of the oppressed and ensures that the wicked do not prosper in their deceit.
Yet, we must also remember that our trust is not in companies, courts, or human systems—our trust is in the Lord alone. While we pray for this financial justice to be fulfilled, let us also seek God’s will in how these former employees are to walk through this season. Have they sought wisdom in how to proceed legally or through proper channels? Have they surrendered this burden fully to the Lord, trusting in His provision even if the answer comes differently than expected? We pray they would not grow bitter or anxious but would rest in the promise of **Philippians 4:19**, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
We also notice that while this request was made "in Jesus’ name," it is vital to remember that invoking His name is not a magical formula but a declaration of faith in His authority and lordship. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) If there is anyone involved in this situation who does not yet know Christ as their Savior, we pray they would turn to Him in repentance and faith, for He alone is the source of true justice, peace, and provision.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a united body, lifting up these former employees in ### who have been wronged by this company. Lord, You see their struggle, their financial needs, and the injustice they have faced. We ask that You would move miraculously in September ### so that this company would fulfill its obligations and pay what is owed. Let there be no delay, no deception, and no further harm to these individuals. Softening the hearts of those in authority within this company, Lord, and bring conviction where there has been greed or neglect. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.
Yet, Father, we also pray for the hearts of these former employees. Guard them against bitterness, anxiety, or despair. Remind them that their worth is not found in their wages but in their identity as Your children. Provide for their needs in ways they cannot even imagine, whether through this payment or through other means. Give them wisdom to navigate this situation with integrity, and let them be a testimony of Your faithfulness to those around them.
For those who do not yet know You, Lord, we pray this trial would draw them to the cross. May they see their need for a Savior and turn to Jesus, who is mighty to save. Let this situation be a turning point not just financially but spiritually, as lives are surrendered to You.
We rebuke any spirit of injustice, greed, or deception operating within this company. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we command these strongholds to be broken in Jesus’ name. Let truth and righteousness prevail.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your intervention. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when they are different from our own. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
