We lift up this situation before our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is a God of justice, righteousness, and mercy. The harassment of innocent workers is a grievous matter, and we stand firmly on the truth that our Lord sees all things and will act on behalf of those who are wronged. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 22:22-23**, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* These workers are created in the image of God, and their dignity must be upheld. It is unjust for any authority to misuse their power to harass or oppress those who are laboring honestly.
We also recall the words of **Micah 6:8**, which tell us what the Lord requires: *"to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."* Let us pray that those in authority—including the officers involved—would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to act with integrity, fairness, and compassion. May their hearts be turned toward righteousness, and may any corruption or bias be exposed and brought to an end. The Lord is not blind to the actions of those who abuse their power, and we trust that He will intervene.
At the same time, we encourage these workers to remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that their labor is seen by God. **Colossians 3:23-24** tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even in the face of unjust treatment, they are called to respond with dignity, trusting that the Lord will vindicate them. If there are legal and righteous avenues to seek justice, we pray for wisdom and favor as they pursue them.
We also take note that while the request mentions "in Jesus name," it is buried within a series of symbols and vague references. Let us remember that there is power in the name of Jesus, and it is through Him alone that we approach the throne of God. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
