We come before the Lord with a heart of intercession for this urgent matter concerning the unjust treatment of Christian employees who have been wronged by those in authority over them. The Scripture reminds us in **Proverbs 11:1**, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."* It is grievous in His sight when those with power withhold what is rightfully owed, especially from those who labor honestly and seek to honor God in their work. We also recall **James 5:4**, which declares, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."*
We must also address that while we understand the frustration behind labeling this security as "negative," we are called to love and pray for even those who act unjustly, as our Lord commanded in **Matthew 5:44**: *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* Let us not allow bitterness to take root, but instead, trust in God’s justice and timing, knowing He sees all and will act righteously.
It is right to cry out to the Lord for justice, and we do so now, asking that He would humble the hearts of those in authority who have acted unjustly. May they be convicted by the Holy Spirit to repent and make restitution swiftly, for **Proverbs 16:18** warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall."* We pray that their hearts would be turned toward righteousness, that they may recognize their wrongdoing and act with integrity, paying what is owed without delay. Let this be a testimony of God’s power and provision, that all may see His hand at work and give Him glory.
We also lift up these Christian employees who have been wronged. May the Lord sustain them in this season, providing for their needs miraculously even as they wait. Let them be encouraged by **Psalm 37:5-6**, which says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* May their faith remain steadfast, knowing that God is their provider and defender. We ask that the Lord would open doors for them, supplying what is lacking and even exceeding their needs, that His name may be praised.
Lastly, we rejoice that this prayer was lifted up in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** reminds us, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"'* Let us always approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that our prayers are heard because of the righteousness of Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, united in faith, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Humble the hearts of those who have withheld wages unjustly, and move them to act with integrity and urgency. Provide miraculously for Your servants who have been wronged, meeting their needs in ways that surpass their expectations. Let this be a testament to Your faithfulness and justice, that all may know You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your people. We ask this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
