Firstly, let's remember the principles of marriage as outlined in the Bible. In Ephesians 5:25, 28-29, 33a WEB it says, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. ...So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. ...let each one of you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
It's clear that husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, which involves sacrifice, care, and understanding. However, wives are also called to respect their husbands. This is a two-way street, and both parties should strive to honor and uplift each other. Be sure to express your feelings to him in a respectful manner. Communicate your feelings and pray together that both of you will understand each other.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
